Im a software professional/consultant and travel for work. I also am often required to use a client laptop in order to have access to their network. As a result, Im unable to install my software on their computer. With this drive, I can install my software on the SSD and use it on the client hardware and it works as fast as if it were on the laptop drive itself.

Ive been using an iPad since it was first released back in 2010. I use it to capture photos and screenscap interesting articles - basically using it as a knowledge store. Over the years, Ive upgraded every other version and my trove of photos keep growing. iCloud do take care of the backup, but Ive always wanted to offload files in order to reduce iCloud fees.

This is a great product. I used it to replace my Hard Drive that I was using as my backup active storage instead of my HD on my computer...you know in-case the computer HD goes out, I still have all my goodies.

Love this. I bought the T5 to copy data from an old laptop. It is slim and it is FAST. It is so good that I have canceled my cloud backup service, which is quite expensive, and use just this for my backup needs. I ordered 2 and keep one backup off-site. Very happy with Samsung T5.

i used the ssd to replace my other hard drive which died and this is fast, and very tiny. I like how you just plug in to a usb and no other power required. its enough space for pictures and videos. I do recommend this drive. Transferring speed is fast also.

The dimensions are great for travel and the storage space is great. Unfortunately I bought this to store and play my computer games from, but the reading speeds make that impossible.
