I have iMac 27 (2019) and bought Samsung 5T 1 TB SSD for my Photos library ( having size 600+ GB).

Recently transferred all my vhs tapes to digital. I didn’t think that I would be able to fit them all on one drive. I was able to fit over 30 years of video memories and still have plenty room for future.

We use these like Mags for cinema cameras that shoot video raw, Great quality, speed and reliability, my only wish is that they made 4-6 TB versions!

I have used this with a mac pro and two different windows pcs to store Virtual Box VMs. As long as you have USB3 or thunderbolt as the interface to these drives, data transfer rates are high. I am able to run VMs from these drives and I do not noice any performance issues. It’s literally like running a pc on its own.

Bought this to increase the storage capacity on my PS5 and it works perfectly! The PS4 games I run off it work/load fast without issue. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good ssd drive on a budget.

good but very expensive

Love the size, SSD gives me a sense of security - no moving parts. Transfer rates are amazing! Will be getting more of these! Still a little pricey, but data is valuable and worth the cost if it is reliable.
