Ive owned several of these for BU, Editing, Capture drives. Great portable SSD.

This product does not work with Mac, I contacted the help desk for Samsung and they sent me a lot of different steps to try to mails it work, I lost a lot of time trying to make it work but it never did, so not buy if you have a Mac, save yourself from the headache!

Lo compré exclusivamente para utilizarlo en una BMPCC4K, hasta ahora funciona perfectamente, solo debo acotar que solo la he probado grabando en AppleProres 422, LT y Proxy. No la he probado usando la máxima calidad de la cámara ya que no tengo la computadora para procesar dicho material en estos momentos.

Worked well while it worked (fast, good capacity), but its been less than nine months and has failed. Just flashes the blue light whenever plugged in without being recognized by the computer. Disappointing because I paid premium for a solid state drive and bought a separate silicone cover AND protective travel case to ensure that the drive would last. And it still didnt even last a year. Never dropped it. Waste of money.

You will be amazed at how tiny this is, but it packs an incredible punch. Files open without hesitation. Using it as my primary drive for documents and videos since my desktop internal SSD C drive is only 250 GB. No difference in speed between this and my internal drive. Very light and easy to pack for travel.

I bought this as a means of moving my Lightroom photo library between machines. Problem is that large copies and backups overheats it and then the read/write errors start occurring. Also, long sustained file transfers seem to really bog down which agrees with the other reports of poor performance. This is really unacceptable. Considering I bought a 2TB unit, being unable to trust it for backups and large file transfers renders this pos nearly worthless. This product has certainly taken my opinion of Samsung products down a several notches.

Does this even need a review? Best ssd out there

Works just like it’s supposed to. Transfer rate is very fast.
