    Kept getting those pesky Scratch Disks are Full message from Photoshop (Mac). Heard an SSD drive might be a good option. At first, I couldnt get Photoshop to recognize the drive. Read from another reviewer that you need to format the drive: Open Disk Utility app to inspect the drive (it comes formatted in exFAT). Reformat to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) -- this will erase anything on the drive, so be certain nothing is on it that you need. After that, it worked fine. Easy!

    I love these things! They work well, take up much less space than my old external disc drives and are pocket sized so you can take them along anywhere. I have bought 3 of them, in different storage capacities and different colors for different uses. A blue 500Gb one has all my music on it: I have a lot of music and it is only about 20% full. Definitely recommended!

    I cannot recommend this drive enough. I have had it for a few months but was compelled to write this review because I was restoring my Mac via Time Machine, and it started at an ETA of about 4 hours. Then, after the drive “warmed up,” or something, it literally copied the entire drive (about 200 GB) in a matter of 5-10 minutes. In total, about 20 minutes for 250 GB. Couldn’t be happier!

    Rated for 1000MB/s speed. Be sure you use a cable that can handle it though. Most cables wont work.
