It does what you need to do. It holds plenty of space, and downloads just as fast. My laptop has little space, so I decided to try and download my games onto it, so that I may save space. I did this with my friends teling me that Ill load slower, and itll run worse.

Way faster than my LaCie. Also accidentally dropped my LaCie and this one at the same time. LaCie corrupted and this one works fine!

Es el segundo que compro de esta marca, no porque el otro no haya funcionado, sino que lo uso para correr Windows en mi Mac y funcionó perfecto, ahora como compré una laptop de 512GB y mis archivos son muy pesados, compré este otro. Funciona excelente, lee y graba muy rápido, yo lo tengo conectado a USB C y tanto el de 512GB como el de 1TB funcionan excelente en macOS Monterey, en definitiva lo recomiendo.

The memory stick that came with my Tesla disappeared, so I needed a replacement so that sentry mode and dash cam would work properly.

Supposed to be around 1000 mb/s but my max is 325 using both both the provided cables. Others in forums seem to encounter the same problem with T5 and T7.

Added this T7 portable SSD to my PS5 for my PS4 games and let me tell you its quick. Well worth the the money for me.

When I bought this I was worried based on the previous reviews but with my thinkpad t480 It was blindingly fast. It took about 20 minutes to clone approximately 700+ gigabytes out of 1 TB compared to my Samsung T5 which took about 44 minutes for the same exact size and about four hours from my previous older Seagate slim drive Drive Drive remained cool. I used Acronis Back up software to clone
