    I use these as storage devices for astrophotography, They are simple to plug into remote scope side computer and rather tough...recently I had one caught under a derotator device and got a little crushed...it still works just fine.

    Very cool size, and looks great in red or blue. I am able to copy large movie files at up to 600MB/second, sometimes a little more. Very happy with that. My internal hard drive cant even read as fast as this thing can write, so i had to copy-test with the internal SSD instead. I considered the X5 thunderbolt drive but in reality thats too much speed most folks will never need or even have the equipment to achieve.

    I bought this drive to use with my Atem Mini pro and it simply could not keep up. I have used a variety of thumb drives with no problem. This drive repeatedly just stopped recording during usage. Compete fail.
