> 3 dayLight weight and, I cant believe how fast it was to transfer files. I bought this to transfer all my phone pictures because my phone started to lag a bit. Too many pictures over 10k. You can either copy or just move. I didnt want to pay for a cloud because they compress your pictures and you lose the quality. It only took about 6 minutes to transfer all my pictures and video. Couldnt believe it was so fast. You just plug into your phone and just select the pictures you want to move. You can create folders within the drive, so easy to find later. This is safer than the other hard drives because it has no moving parts and will not crash and burn like the other makers. Yes, you can buy memory sticks, but that requires you to have a PC to transfer files. No PC needed just plug and play. Cant get any easier.

> 3 dayI use the SSD for backup of my music server (Roon Rock). I own a few Samsung portable SSDs and there are all reliable and very fast. Trusted brand and technology. The pricing on the 2Tb model was very good and highly recommended.

> 3 dayMakes a nice handwarmer. Thats about it. Initially, it does well on performance tests, but in real life use it quickly overheats and then its protection kicks in, throttling the speed way down. Honestly, my old WD disk drive is faster. Rethink this one Samsung. I would rather have a slower consistent speed than a burst of fast speed for 30 seconds and then a slow, brick of a drive.

14-11-2024Drive is ok as fast storage, but not usable as a media drive over USB-C. Read errors, disconnections, etc on several different machines even after reformatting drive. Good for file transfers though.

> 3 dayLove the smaller SSDs that are available. I have a bunch of portable HDs but this one is faster & smaller. Use it with my old MacBook Pro & editing photos on capture one.
