    I have need of storing a large amount of files as well as installing Steam games onto an external for my personal laptop. I needed something fast and easy to set up without any additional cruft and this seemed to fit that pretty well. I could get speeds up to 900+MB/s with this hooked into a thunderbolt port and basic file transferring was overall smooth.

    I got this T7 Samsung detachable drive to transfer images and documents from. my ancient Mac to my new Mac. Its FAST (37,500 big, some multi-gig images transferred in less than 7 minutes), small, and I love that it came with 2 USB cables. 8,00 documents (many are more than 500 pages each) transferred almost instantly. One cable is USBC to USBC (new to new), but the other is old USB to USBC (old to new), enabling easy transfer from my old Mac. I didnt need tech support. Its new, so I dont know how long it will last, but its perfect for my needs.

    Great product, easily fits in you laptop bag, comes with two cable (nice and short). Great build quality. Fast boot time and read/write speed. No complaints, a very happy customer.

    i love pocket sized tech, even if this is just gonna sit on my desk all the time. only issue w this is that it gets very hot if its always on. i bought this for my PS5 and this thing gets burning hot to the touch at times. these are significantly more expensive than traditional hard drive for obvious reason the speed. the color is a nice touch, as is the LED indicator. if youre getting this for a gaming console storage, get at least 1tb

    It’s a little pricey but worth it. As a DJ having large music files this is great. Just make sure to convert it to FAT when you want to play in your CDJ’s.
