    This is connected to my PS5 for all my PS4 game installs. I upgraded from a standard mini HDD so the load times for these games is really fast. Also this thing is tiny, its half the size of a standard SSD drive. I guess about credit card size as for dimensions and about 4-5 mm in thickness. I bought the 2TB edition so I dont have to upgrade later down the road. Its connected to one of the Super Speed USB (10gbps) ports on the back of the PS5. PS4 games arent really that large so I have plenty of storage capacity for all of them and Im only using 700GB and 1.2TB left to install more, so Im very happy with my purchase.

    I have been running the Samsung SSD for six months as the back up disk on my Apple MacBook Pro. It performs well, but frequently disconnects when my computer goes into sleep mode and has to be unplugged and reinitiated to resume. This is an irritation I had not anticipated. If I were to replace this, I would look closely at other brands., but

    This drive is really fast and compact. Credit card sized SSD and it fits perfectly to my pocket. I did buy 4 of this same drive 2TB each. The body is made of aluminium and I cant feel it is hot while I am using to watch my videos stored in it. Yes you can edit videos using this drive and it is not supposed to disconnect. I use the drive with my MacBook pro USB-C ports. Just a reminder the speed of the drive WR can be limited by the USD connection you may have.

    Drive got hot and issues with USB c cable. That was the first drive. The second drive was dead on arrival.
