> 3 dayI used to use a thumb drive for my Tesla Cam. This SSD is so much better. Easy to install. Just plug it into the Tesla Model 3 center consoles USB 3 or USB C connection and use the Tesla to format it. Ready to use in 10 seconds. Does not generate much heat. Works perfectly. Tesla has a software problem and once in a while, the Tesla main control will show the cam not recording. I just reboot the Tesla but push both steering wheel buttons simultaneously. Once reboot, M3 will record to this SSD again. Did a lot of research on this problem and it turns to be a Tesla problem.

> 3 day100% sure someone had opened it since all the boxes were folded or bent. Other than that, it seemes OK.

> 3 daySo I purchased this & then read the reviews afterwards (but before the product arrived) and was a little concerned about what I had potentially gotten myself into... thankfully, I didnt end up regretting my purchase. The drive works wonderfully and barely even gets warm to the touch. I DID take one of the other reviewers suggestions & opted NOT to install the setup software that came with it (instead just letting Windows do its thing), so other buyers may want to keep that under consideration.

> 3 dayI use a Mac Mini (Late 2014) and installed Mac OS Monterey on the internal HDD however it was working super slow. After I installed Monterey on the Samsung T7 SSD the OS boots up 3 minutes faster and apps load so much quicker. I had to create a bootable flash drive and copy the Monterey installer onto that device for it to work because it was giving me errors when trying to do it straight from the desktop. The SSD can sometimes get hot but I dont think its anything to worry about. I believe my Mac Mini model has USB 3.0 ports and not 3.1 or 3.2 so I dont get the full speeds expected but it still makes a huge difference.

> 3 dayBought 3 of these drives and Im returning them. As others have mentioned, Ive been forced to format them multiple times. Luckily I had other backups of my data. When the drive does work, Windows says theres a problem and that you need to fix it or you may encounter data loss. This SSD simply isnt reliable, and thats very disappointing coming from Samsung. I have a T5 and other internal Samsung SSDs and theyre working without issues. Avoid the T7.

> 3 dayi received this ssd yesterday, and upon testing it, i noticed that whenever i play a video, it would stutter every 5 seconds or so consistently. this has never happened with my other drives whether HDD or SSD (internal). i have up to date bios and drivers, so not sure what is going on. anyway this is unacceptable for an SSD. returning the product. otherwise, this ssd would have been good. temperature is good. even after transferring 300GB worth of data continuously, it maxed out at around 40+ degress C.
