Greater than one weekThis is my 2nd T7, to go along with my 2 T5 drives. These things are reasonably priced and small and fast.

> 3 dayI own several of these, both 1 and 2 Tb versions, which is great for backup of photo, music and documents. I particularly use it to carry a large library of books, movies and TV shows on trips and vacation. Combined with my Mac laptop and HDMI output I can watch anything I want, anywhere I want on any TV with an HDMI input.

> 3 dayI got this as a memory expansion for my home computer. I have a massive photo library, around 1tb, and while I use iCloud photos it was still using around 400gb of computer ssd hd space. So I could have gone spinning disk hd, but I wanted the speed and stability of ssd. Anyways…. This thing is super fast. Transferred the 400gb “photo library” file in about 22min…. and that’s being hooked up to a usb3.0 port (which I realize is not maximizing the ssd capabilities). I will agree that the unit runs hot. It got pretty hot while transferring data, but it runs warm in idle mode as well. Not any warmer than my Mac mini though I think. Samsung says this shouldn’t be any issue though. And it’s so small. I’m blown away by the size. It’s like a credit card. I may get a second one for mobile use. My last experience with an external HD was the huge spinning disk G Drives from 10 years ago haha. Needless to say this is a massive improvement. Very happy so far. I’ll update this review if there are any issues.

> 3 dayI got this to store my PC games. Im very impressed with it. It has plenty of space. The speed with the usb-c cable is great. I was able to play Call of Duty Vanguard with no hesitation at all. Its very light and makes a great addition to my laptop. Its small enough to fit in my pocket. This is one of the best external drives Ive ever had.
