> 3 dayThis SSD drive makes my computer faster than when it was new. It boots to the desktop in about 10 seconds. Installation was easy with the downloaded Samsung software that I used to clone my old hard drive. I also purchased a usb to sata cable from Amazon that works fantastic.

> 3 daySuch an itty-bitty laptop ssd, but the difference in performance from an hdd is amazing. So I have a Dell Inspiron 13 5378 all-in-one laptop/tablet, and earlier I replaced the 8gb RAM with 1x16gb RAM. Yesterday I replaced my hdd with the 860 EVO from Samsung. All you really need is a usb to SATA cable, a cloning tool, and a teeny screwdriver to remove whatever screws that keep the laptop securely in place. Did a backup first on a flash/thumb drive before cloning. Swapped the hdd with the ssd, restarted the laptop and poof! I now have an upgrade that was worth pennies.

I wish id done it a long time ago because ive wasted 10 hours or more in the last year waiting for apps to open and having to switch what im doing or open 6 tabs to allow them to open while twiteling on something else while they do. Super fast quiet and easy to install. Best upgrade on my mac so far.

> 3 dayFirstly, to get my computer to recognize this right click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management > Right click unrecognized drive and format > Be sure to select the correct cluster size > Ok. Back in the day you could plug it in, right click your HD under My Computer and format.
