> 24 hourProduct purchased as a Data Drive in concert with a 970 EVO 1TB from same company for OS. Installed in an otherwise stock Dell G7 15 7588 on recommendations that the parts were in fact compatible (added 32GB ram as well) Used for editing of digital audio workstation projects. This drive is excellent and, unless you have a TON of cash to purchase a 9xx large capacity SSD for your data purposes, this will be just about the best high capacity solid state drive you can fit into your mid-level mobile workstation

> 24 hourDefinitely improved the performance of my existing iMac. SSD drives will be a must on all future Macs, which I use for broadcast TV editing.

> 24 hourUsed in a 2010 MBP as well as a 2012 it completely brought both to life (better then out of the box) with the additional of a memory upgrade at the same time. Saved 1000s vs buying new computers

> 24 hourI bought the 860 evo 1Tb SSD what a difference from my 1tb Hdd. I have a dell laptop on windows 10 with a 2 core I7 at 2.5 my hd read and write speed went from both around 100mbps to both over 500mbps in normal mode but with rapid mode through Samsung magician software read went up to 4456 and write at 4087. My laptop can now go from off to windows loaded and ready in 16 seconds

> 24 hourUse this to increase storage and improve speed on an MSI laptop. It did a great job with both. Of course the install process with getting everything moved over was a challenge but once complete it works great.

> 24 hourHave an HP laptop, cheaper kind right? 4GB ram it says and 32 bit Windows. It was always slow, disk usage 100% most of the time. So I thought maybe its going bad because disks do go bad. Got this and a 8GB memory module. Well 32 bit Windows only sees 4GB max, so adding it gave me 12GB and it crashed alot, blue screen, reset every few minutes. Put 64bit Windows using a bootable USB flash stick that anyone can do too, and HP had installed 2x4GB ram so it had 8gb but only used 4. Now its got 12Gb and this SSD and is screaming fast.
