Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I should have upgraded years ago, but the capacity kept getting higher and the prices lower. The drive is what it is, and does what it is supposed to do. What really impresses me is Samsungs Magician software utility. It enables tuning, monitoring, and maintenance all while looking like a well refined piece of software.

Had to upgrade the stock OEM drive in several desktops and rack servers and all the units have preformed very well with amazing read/write speeds. I would recommend to others

Replaced an HDD on an 8 year old Sandy Bridge era PC, obvious improvement, everything loads and runs far smoother. Shouldnt be too much of a surprise over mechanically searching those disks. If youre running an old slow system with an HDD consider switching to an SSD instead of trying to upgrade your RAM first, unless you actually know that youre running out of that memory.

Im using this disk to run Windows 10. I store all the data (music, pictures, documents) on a different hard drive.

We mirrored my aging (2014) laptops harddrive onto this Solid State Drive, turned it off, popped it in, flawless transition. My computer is much, much faster now and doesnt hesitate over opening programs anymore.

I purchased this hard drive in 2018 at the advice of my nephew to bring my old HP all-in-one pc back to life. He installed it for me and its been working well ever since. I recently purchased a new (used) desktop tower pc that has a smaller SSD hard drive so I may put this one in a hard drive enclosure to enable using it as an external drive.

I wanted to change out my.old 2tb hard drive because of the noise and this certainly did the trick. No more loud noises from the hard drive and things load noticeably quicker especially games like GTA5 or Red Dead 2

I used a 500GB as an external drive for my xbox one to backup my 2011 MacBook pro and transfer to a 1TB. These are great SSDs. One on my xbox works great and the one in my MacBook was an absolute game changer. This SSD plus 16gb ram brought life back to my old computer.

I was looking to replace my hard drive with an SSD, in order to enhance my PCs performance, for awhile now. Ive heard nothing but good things about Samsungs SSDs so I decided to give it a try. I am not disappointed. I got the 500GB because that was the size of my original hard drive, installation was super easy and transferring my data was hassle-free. Immediately after installation I notice a consider increase in my PCs speed. The time I turn it on to the time im at my desktop has decreased from around 2-3 mins to about 20-30 seconds. A major improvement. And all my PCs other functions are considerably faster as well. If youre looking for SSDs, this is definitely the way to go.

Followed directions on package as I never changed one out before. Was fairly simple to install. Speed is awesome, not even comparable to old one. Will definitely purchase again for my laptop!
