> 3 dayTried installing this SSD in 3 different computers. NO joy. The device is not recognized in any of them. Not in BIOS or in Disk Management or under Compter. Also, since the device cant be found in any of the 3 PCs, I obviously cant initialize it or format it. Am aware that there is a specific driver provided by Samsung for this SSD which I downloaded but cant install it because software cant find the SSD in any of the PCs. And YES all 3 PCs have PCIe Gen 3x4 M.2 functionality and am currently running another SSD (Kingston HyperX Predator 256GB) in a PCIe x 4 slot with no problems. Have even tried mounting the device on another PCIe adapter card. Still no joy! Decided to buy this SSD since the existing Kingston PCIe SSD is getting a little long in the tooth ... has been running almost 24/7/365 for the past 6 years and was concerned that it may soon die (have had instances lately where it has begun throttling down). The only option left is to pay have the device tested by a local Computer store (Memory Express, Calgary @ + $55.00). Will update when the test is done.

> 3 dayThis is a great SSD. Very fast speeds and easy to install. Only hard part is getting your laptop open. This has better speeds than the one my laptop came with.

> 3 dayFinally settled to upgrade a whole new pc build for the cheap prices of nvmes (same price of sata ssd). Hard drives cannot open a gif or mp4 file without lagging by 20 secs bare minimum. Loading up on start up would take over 5 minutes or else if you start opening a program after signing in instantly, that program would white out with a windows not responding for close to a minute. After setting this thing up and now doing the most obnoxious thing which is transferring my old files/music/mp4/text documents onto a gigabyte b560m motherboard (go to bios io/ports>usb>enable> use eufi to boot windows 10 from usb without problems) everything I open from a music file to a video takes within milliseconds to load, th relief. Boots up in under 15 seconds and you can open your programs to do you work or game in under 30 seconds flat. I am using the stock settings, there is an option to run the nvme at 100% of its performance ( i do not advise unless you have good case cooling due to running the thing over 75c at all times) anyway at stock it stays under 45c all day.
