I think the majority of users will not even notice, but these things are SLOW when performing large file transfers. Were talking HDD level of performance for concurrent writes once you fill the SLC cache. The SLC cache is something like < 80GB, after that you get about 160MBps writes.

Works as expected. The external case is not included with the SSD.

Perfect for what I need

This works great with my laptop and storing games.

I decided to replace my older HDD on my Dell XPS 8900 because I was tired of waiting almost 10 minutes to fully boot and load windows where I could actually open a program and start working. After adding this (had to buy an extra SATA cable) and xfer all data over, I couldnt believe the difference. From full boot restart to opening a program it was a little over 1 minutes. Just wished I had gotten the two TB version.

Opened up the package and installed Samsung magician. Hooked it up to find the serial number and found it was counterfeit drive. No proper serial number and can’t bench mark it. Sent it back as incorrect information listed on the ad.

This drive may be sufficient for any other usage but its not that good for use inside a Ps4 pro. This drive felt slow and only slightly faster than the standard 1TB HDD I swapped it with. Then I did some research on this drive and found out its low endurance rate and its low performance and endurance in comparison to the 870 EVO drive. A three year failure rate for this QVO drive is unacceptable quality IMO. Games take a very long time to install on a PS4 Pro. Cant be having failures in a hard drive.
