When loading the QVO SSD, it runs fine until it gets through write cache, then the write speed slows to roughly 88 MB/S. Read speed is fine, In the past, I have always used EVO drives with much more consistent write speeds. I would return the two QVO drives I just purchased if I could. IMHO, pay the little cost extra for EVO drives for consistent performance.

I have an 8 year old desktop. Upgraded the video card to a GTX1050Ti a year or two ago. Hardly a beast, but I can still game. The bottleneck in every benchmark was my HD. This SSD rocked my world. I highly recommend it. It made an old PC feel snappy and quick to load within seconds, not minutes.

One day I went to turn on my PC & was met with a message no boot device detected after this I installed the Samsung 870 qvo 1TB SSD to my test rig & was met with the same message no boot device detected. After this I threw a spare 128GB Kingston SSD into both machines detected & booted as normal. I spent a lot of money (to me) on this Samsung SSD for the brand recognition & because I thought it would be a good investment, but that turned out not to be the case. Ill message the seller to try & get a replacement but I dont have much faith in corporations doing the right thing. Oddly enough, the product support window from Amazon closed the same month my Samsung SSD mysteriously stopped working, go figure.

Works in a Asus 500Q

I ordered this SAMSUNG 870 QVO SATA III 2.5 SSD 2TB, but it was not recognizable by my computers. Returned it and got another one, the same problem again. Had to ask for a refund.

I used this hard drive in my 13inch macbook pro to replace the primary hard drive. It worked like a charm and gave my computer many more years of life because of the increased speed.

I bought this 1T SSD last October 28, 2021. Few weeks back my computer was experiencing issue with freezing and unable to boot. When I brought my computer to to a repair shop, I was told that my hard disk is broken. I contacted Amazon customer service to initiate replacement as it is still covered by a 3 year period, but Pavithra, from Amazon customer service told me that she cannot help me, because the return window expired more than 1 year ago. I contacted Samsung but was told to contact Amazon first since i bought this item from Amazon.
