SATA SSDs are far from the fastest things out there, and QLC drives arent great for sustained write performance, but within its niche this is a fantastic storage drive for anything that is primarily read access. As a repository for Steam games its fantastic.

Wished I had more room to get more of them

I transferred an 800mb file and it only took 5 seconds. It also looks and feels nice - very high quality. Its could almost pass for an external ssd. After formatting there was 930gb out of 1tb. I would definitely buy Samsung SSD again once prices go down.

Bought it for hard drive upgrade nothing wrong with it very good

So I would consider myself pretty tech savvy, but I felt a little fooled by the manufacturers description. I was under the impression this was the 870 Evo. I know at the top it says QVO... in retrospect... the manufacturers description only talks about the EVO and I find that a little deceiving. I was totally out of room on my other ssd and needed a 2tb quickly. I jumped on typed in what I thought was 870 EVO ordered, and then an 870 QVO showed up. I admit partly my fault... but I dont appreciate deceptive practices. Hence the 1 star review.

Great soft wear

Bought two of these to replace the boot drive SATA hard drives in my computer and laptop to speed up boot times. From pushing the power button, to start working is 30 seconds! It was so easy to clone the boot drives. A very complex, complicated task made simple. So simple even a, well you know.
