I have two of these drives at the moment and both have performed flawlessly. I am very happy with them and would recommend to others.

i originally bought a crucial 500 meg drive and spent over 6 hours trying to install it in my laptop. their software to transfer did not work. spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone from india to try and get it to work. Never did get it to work and they tried everything. Bought this drive. installed their transfer software. took about 2 minutes to download and with no instructions transfered my date to the new drive and insstalled it in less then an hour form the start. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DRIVE TO SPEEDUP YOUR COMPUTER AND REPLACE YOUR OLD HARD DRIVE. WORKS GREAT AND REALLY FAST.

Moreover, the prices are extremely competitive considering all the features like Samsung Smart Magician. The 870 EVO quality is unmatched when compared to DRAM-less SSDs and QLC SSDs, so the slight price increase is worth it for new PC builds. For people who wanted to revive an old laptop, remove your old storage from the laptop and mount the SSD into the enclosure. Afterward, fresh install Windows with a USB and enjoy the money saved. You would not have any regrets about buying this SSD.
