Was needing some extra storage on my desktop pc. Didn’t come with the cable needed to plug into the pc. Once I got the cable needed it worked great!

I didn’t notice how much faster this drive was until I popped in my other Samsung SSD. This drive loads my computer in 18 seconds my other SSD takes about 1 or 2 minutes. In comparison to my original MacBook Pro 2012 HD this Evo is like night and day. If you’re on the fence about buying it. I say go for it. I also own the previous Gen EVO and it’s even faster than that surprisingly.

I wanted a 1TB SSD so I could make a copy of my operating system drive and keep it as a spare. I copied my 860 EVO 1TB onto the 870 EVO 1 TB, then left the 870 in as the operating system drive.

Battery installed easily but after following the reccomended charge-up-run-down process it only held a 1.5 hour charge. Should be better than that so a little disappointed.

Working for Lenovo Z50-70 model. I can notice 110% percent speed now. Copied 780 GB just in 20-30mins. Earlier even I copy from folder to differ folder within same drive, it used to take some time but now rapid speed. Used Samsung sync software to sync my OS from old hard disk. Smooth process.
