Im so happy with this robot vacuum. Like most people, I had already heard of the iRobot Roomba, but was put off by the price and the overwhelming number of models currently on the market, some of which are $800! Madness. This TIKOM is a fantastic option for people looking for a quality product without breaking the bank. I have a 1-bed apartment with 2 cats, and this thing has completely changed my routine. No more vacuuming up litter and hair every morning, this handy thing just does it while I get ready for the day. I havent figured out how to get it to map the different rooms, but just using the automatic cleaning feature works just fine for me. Sometimes I use manual mode if Im in a rush and want it to focus on a particular area. Easy to empty the little dust compartment. The one thing Im not sure about is how to make the thing work if you are not at your house for a while, but someone else is. Can they download the app and use it? Not sure, need to find out. Im also not even sure if it DOES map rooms. But personally, I dont mind about that, I just wanted something that saved me manual labor, is reliable and works really well. This does all that in abundance. Highly recommend!

After we have used iRobot Roomba for about 20 years, we saw robot mops on the market and found this one we think worth to try. We have used G8000 for about three weeks now and we are happy with it. The dry clean performance is similar to the robots we have used but the noise level is much lower. We don’t notice the sound even when we are on the same floor level. I think if we run two G8000 simultaneously the noise level still is less than one Roomba. It is a little smaller than Roomba but has two brushes. You can see from the picture the dirt collected from one 10 by 10 room. Cleaning the dirt bin is easier than other Robots. We also used the mop function, set the water level to the middle using the button on the remote. It also works well (the 2nd picture). We tried to do dry clean by removing the water bin, it works. The stair edge detection has no issue. The remote has enough control function for us so we didn’t use APPs. For improvement: the default suction power on the setting after first power-on should be the maximum level (I think it was set to the minimum level at our unit). We set the suction to max level using the remote. It works beautifully afterward. The remote is not described in the manual but is on the quick reference sheets.

Im very impressed with this inexpensive vacuum. It picks up a lot and even works well on the carpet. I havent used the mop function yet.

Vacumes and mops wells. Does seem to get stuck in certain areas but the suction is strong and this cuts down the time I spend sweeping and mopping my hardwood floor

I placed its charging station under a cabinet, where its out of site. It has no problem finding its way back to it when I tell it to go charge, even if it might take a while when there are many obstacles. Its really been a great help since we got a cat. It catches the cat hair and litter that the cat brings out from the litter box. The amount of dirt and hair I empty out after it runs for a couple of hours is impressive, and proof of the vacuums efficacy. Its easy to operate with the remote. I did not download and test the phone app. The English in the instruction manual is pretty bad, so I didnt want to get the app. The battery seems to last for about two hours, as the product claims. Its more than enough. It gets stuck under furniture that are just the right hieght -- I have a few of those, unfortunately. The included magnetic strip helps avoid those traps. The way the vacuum navigates in a room and around obstacles is really impressive. I tried the mopping as well -- its not great, but it works, and its a very nice addition for a vacuum at this price point. Overall - a great help in the house.

I like it. Will I buy another? Probably not. Here’s why. It needs a babysitter. It’s just 2 of us and we’re tidy but you have to vacuum proof your house before you let it go. It gets stuck under certain recliners, dressers, etc. if the clearance is too low. You must make sure all cords are out of reach. I could easily vacuum myself in 1/2 the time this takes but then… where’s the fun in that. It does however, do a great job in picking up dirt and hair! It’s unbelievable what this little thing comes back with! Also I can’t find replacement filters to fit. I’m still searching and the filter is pretty clogged. I think I would go with a more recognizable brand with easy to find replacement parts next time.

Vacuums very well, climbs under beds and sofas and thoroughly cleans every corner. Wipes the floor, but does not remove heavy stains. I am very happy with the purchase. Necessary helper in the house.

This is my first ever robot vacuum, so I was taking a chance with it with the good reviews it has. It definitely is easy to use. The app and the remote are easy to use, and the app is easy to connect to. The suction power is great. We use the normal suction power level and that picks up everything. It has a strong suction level but dont even have to use that! It is also pretty quiet too, and I like that it has a filter and pretty good size bin for what it picks up. I would give it 5 stars, but Ive found that you really have to work with it to make sure it doesnt suck up things you dont want it to if you put it in auto mode and leave it alone to vacuum, like wires, pet toys, rugs, etc. Sometimes it gets lost and you definitely have to create boundaries for it so it can run by itself without issue on automatic mode. I live in an apartment and do have many obstacles that it can run into, which it learns very quickly about. But it definitely takes a little bit of learning your house so it doesnt get stuck in places and learning the vacuum. Overall, 4/5 because Ive had to work through some tech issues with it. But I like that it gets to places I cant with my vacuum. So planning to keep it! Hope this helps anyone curious about this robot vacuum!

I have very active dogs. Shedding is an issue. I have a brand name but it does not mop. Love that it sweeps and I can add the mopping accessories when I am ready. Wood floor so mopping is done when I am home as I remove/insert the attachments. I do not want a wet rag laying on my floor for hours. It is so soft on my furniture. It actually navigates on a pattern worth every penny for me.

Im in love. Its me, my boyfriend, and my dog in a pretty small studio apartment. Dirt builds up fast in that small of a space. I couldn’t keep up with the sweeping, not to mention i hated it, and we really couldn’t be sockless around the house because dirt would stick to our feet no matter how recently i cleaned. Enter this vacuum. For a budget option, its amazing. Im sure a more expensive one with more features would be nicer, but this one does the job pretty well. I haven’t connected to the app, but i really havent needed to. I run the vacuum once a day and mop every other day. It bounces around my entire apartment 3-4 times, declares itself done, and goes back to the charging pad. My floors are nice and clean, and it even gets under the furniture where I always ignored. Its not super quiet, but its not any louder than a dishwasher or a dryer or something. It does get stuck on rugs, so i pick up my small ones and shake them out before letting it run. The vacuum does push stuff around a bit. My dogs beds get shoved around for a while till it hits a more concrete barrier, and toys on the floor get pushed around (i do pick them up but my dog pulls them out again right away) sometimes it runs into things a bit hard, but usually it just gently bumps off and goes another way. I love that it vacuums and mops. It does take a little bit of maintenance, emptying the dirt and filling/emptying the water, but it comes with a cute little tool to brush the dirt out of the inside and to cut hairs wrapped around the roller. There weren’t any instructions on how to clean it so i had to poke at it a bit to realizing the top opens up for access to the dirt catcher. It does come with multiple mop pads so that you can wash one while you use the other.
