I had been using the cleaner for about 4 months now. I got to say that is almost perfect. Things I like: 1. The brushes are made in a way that long hair do not get caught on them like other brand cleaners, instead the hairs are moved and get caught by the roller under the unit and I think is better that way to prevent the Left/Right brushes to slow down or stop spinning. 2. The suction power is impressive while remaining relatively silence. I had much louder cleaners before this one. Im very pleased with the low noise. I can even using it on quiet nights. 3. The mop function works very nice and since this cleaner got mapping, it seems to cover most of the floor even when there are obstacles. I only wish I could use some detergent but since it says use clear water only, I had only used plain water and works well. 4. It got a large basket to gather the dust. 5. The water tank is relatively large enough to last several large rooms. 6. The mopping cloth can be remove and wash. 7. Since it got mapping, the cleaner can return to its base when got low battery, even when its very far away from the base. 8. The charge can last about 2 hrs approx. on max suction and it recharges relatively fast. 9. It got one Boundary strip and works nicely to avoid going to anywhere you do not want to. 10. It got a tiny brush hidden inside the unit for cleaning. 11. It got removeable filters. In General Im very pleased with this product and had helped me maintain my super big house clean. The only thing I would wish it got better is a better Wi-fi. It only support 2.4 Band and NOT 5.0 or 6.0, because of that I had not been able to use the app with it but so far it had done its job without it. People who are not very technological with phone apps can still use this unit very easy.

After we have used iRobot Roomba for about 20 years, we saw robot mops on the market and found this one we think worth to try. We have used G8000 for about three weeks now and we are happy with it. The dry clean performance is similar to the robots we have used but the noise level is much lower. We don’t notice the sound even when we are on the same floor level. I think if we run two G8000 simultaneously the noise level still is less than one Roomba. It is a little smaller than Roomba but has two brushes. You can see from the picture the dirt collected from one 10 by 10 room. Cleaning the dirt bin is easier than other Robots. We also used the mop function, set the water level to the middle using the button on the remote. It also works well (the 2nd picture). We tried to do dry clean by removing the water bin, it works. The stair edge detection has no issue. The remote has enough control function for us so we didn’t use APPs. For improvement: the default suction power on the setting after first power-on should be the maximum level (I think it was set to the minimum level at our unit). We set the suction to max level using the remote. It works beautifully afterward. The remote is not described in the manual but is on the quick reference sheets.

1-year update: Its been a year, so Id thought Id revisit. Sadly, I have to knock another star off because I dont know why this vacuum cant find home when it needs to charge. If the vacuum is in another part of the house, say the kitchen or front hall, it gets totally confused about where it is in relation to the charging station. Why cant this thing just remember where it is? I have to pick the thing up then and place it down in front of the charger, which kind of defeats the point of automatic robot vacuum. Other than that, it still works pretty much. Update: Im downgrading my original review. Theres nothing smart about the smart feature. Im sitting here looking at a large patch of bare floor that needs to be vacuumed and Im pretty sure unless I intervene and physically move the vacuum, it wont get done. Ive watched this thing cover the same area 3 or 4 times, while missing entire areas completely. Moreover, I dont know if this vacuum can sense my presence, but it seems like sometimes it is always underfoot. Wherever I am, its there, banging into my feet. Also, Id love it if when it gets stuck, it just backs itself out rather than trying to wedge itself under a piece of furniture even more. Original review: The main thing to take away from this review is the this vacuum does an excellent job of doing what we needed it to do: eliminate the daily broom routine. Because we have multiple cats and the majority of our floor space are hard surfaces, we would spend a lot of time sweeping up cat litter and hair every morning. This vacuum has almost completely solved that problem. Yes, we still do have to bust out the broom for those hard-to-reach places and whatever the vacuum misses but those times are fewer and far between. That said, its not perfect. It doesnt perform well on uneven surfaces such as along edges of rugs and mats. Also, the little spinning brushes in the front are fairly competent in their intended purpose, but do sometimes scatter debris out instead of in. This means that if the vacuum has already gone over one area, and it flicks a bit of litter or dirt into that area, it might not pick it up unless it passes over that area again. Im not sure what is so smart about the Smart feature. Lately, the vacuum has been getting stuck more often in places that it didnt get stuck in before, which just means I cant leave the thing unattended like I would like to. Also, the mop feature is underwhelming. I mean it tries but it wont be replacing the mop any time soon. Dont buy this vacuum for the mop, its more an afterthought than something you should base your purchase on. Battery life is good, so far about an hour with suction set to high. This is more than adequate for our small area but isnt close to the advertised 2 hours. That said, ymmv.

I have very active dogs. Shedding is an issue. I have a brand name but it does not mop. Love that it sweeps and I can add the mopping accessories when I am ready. Wood floor so mopping is done when I am home as I remove/insert the attachments. I do not want a wet rag laying on my floor for hours. It is so soft on my furniture. It actually navigates on a pattern worth every penny for me.

This is the first robotic vacuum I bought; thoroughly research and decided to buy this one. We have a mid size dog and a cat; I was amazed at how much this vacuum picked up! When I received it I vacuumed first with the upright vacuum and then sent the robotic off and running. It picked up so much more even after vacuuming with the big vacuum. The instructions were very clear and includes an extra set of brushes and even a string cutter if something gets wrapped around the main brush. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because once in a while it gets stuck on the same path, going over and over the same strip of carpet. I can’t figure that one out, but heck, other than that it does a great job. Our house is quite large with two stories, and it saves me from having to lug the big vacuum up and down the stairs. Overall, I’m quite happy with the purchase.

I purchased 6 month ago, I love this little vacuum and use it daily! I have recommended it to 2 of my friends now and they do as well. My boyfriend has another big name robot vacuum brand....and this one is better in every way. Quite, cleans better, more efficient, costs less, etc. I had to contact customer service recently for a minor issue and they were prompt and helpful. Definitely recommend!

I LOVE this little vacuum. I bought it for myself as a Christmas present and have had it for about three months, and I really enjoy how much its cut down on my cleaning time. I am shocked every time I go to empty the bin by how much it picked up that I didnt even realize was on my floors. For a while it did get stuck trying to go under my couch, which is just slightly too low for it, but I put small risers on my couch legs because I wanted this guy to be able to clean under it, and now it has no problem there. The ONLY reason this doesnt get five stars is because Im not a fan of its mapping function. I really wish that it would learn your space and be able to create a routine so it always knows where to go, but it cleans different every time, and doesnt always navigate my apartment well without help. There are times that it gets stuck in a place that it navigated fine before. If the app created a better map of your space to guide the vacuum, this would be an easy five stars. Overall, I highly recommend this vacuum. Its fantastic being able to clean your floors while reading on the couch...its as close to having a cleaning person as I will likely ever get. For the price, this is a great purchase.

This vacuum/mop has changed my life. I have 3 dogs and 20 acres of land. They love to go outside and play and bring in dirt, leaves, mud etc. It does a great job on my hardwood floors and with the touch of a button it will clean up the messes they bring in allowing me to continue working. (Work from home) the vacuum feature seems to pick up everything from hard floors that’s been put in its way. Looks to also do a great job on the carpets as well but I still prefer to give them a regular vacuum every few days. My dogs do not shed much so I cannot speak for that. The mopping is great and allows you to regulate the amount of water it uses so they dry quite quickly as well. Would def recommend, especially at this price point.
