01-11-2024The vacuum itself works really well and captures a lot of dust and dirt on my floors. It is very fun to watch moving around the house and obviously saves me time. The mop function works fairly well, but you are only supposed to put water in it. So it won’t get your floors as clean as you would with a product. When using the mop setting, I wish it would stay away from my rugs. There is a carpet boost setting, so that it goes to a higher suction power on carpet. This function should be used to recognize when the mop head is on to avoid areas that have carpet. It isn’t the smartest because it gets really obsessed with certain areas and doesn’t go to other areas of the home. The app could use some improvement as well. When you use manual to get the vacuum into a certain room and then switch to smart clean, it doesn’t still recognize the location of the charging station. Overall, I would still buy it again, but wish it was a little “smarter”. I got it on an Amazon prime day and I see now there is a $20 coupon making it even less than what I bought it for on Prime Day. That’s unfortunate also.

> 3 dayI bought this for the price. I use it for the kitchen mostly. It runs every other day. The price is what attracted me. There is a lot of prep to run this machine. Even when the magnetic strips are placed to keep it out of an area it will push them out of the way and get stuck So far it gets stuck under the cabinet (see picture). It also hangs up on the door stop. (See pic). Hangs up under the couch. I initially has it program to smart. I noticed it would do the edges of the room many many times and rarely touch the center of the room often leaving it obviously dirty. I recently set it to random and notices it cleans better. I no longer let it run if Im not home. The things I did like. It came with multiple filters, an extra moping pad and brushes. The dirt trap is easy to empty. It does an ok job but does not take the place of manually mopping. I was hoping if I ran it every other day I wouldnt have to manually mop as often. So far not happening. If I had it to do over I would have spent more money and gotten a different one.

> 3 dayMi primera Robot aspiradora.

27-10-2024Vacumes and mops wells. Does seem to get stuck in certain areas but the suction is strong and this cuts down the time I spend sweeping and mopping my hardwood floor

Greater than one weekWe bought this vacuum months ago after our older iRobot finally quit. This thing is a complete upgrade; it’s amazing. Stuff the old vacuum couldn’t pick up, this one sucks it up no problem. It doesn’t bang around stuff like the other did, it can actually sense when it’s getting near a thing and just kinda kisses it gently and moves on. Real stand up guy, this vacuum. Excuse me, vacuum+mop bc yeah, she mops as well and really does a fine job. It’s not replacing a good mopping, but it absolutely postpones the need for one for a while. The app works great and reminds you when to clean its lil brushes, remote is responsive, I have two cats and a large fluffy dog and the tank can handle only being cleaned once per day with two scheduled cleaning cycles and stray litter and fur about. I have no complaints so far. It’s great!

> 3 dayI have only owned normal roombas before this and I really wanted something that mopped or would at least help with the upkeep of my floors. We don’t wear shoes in the house but somehow the floors are always in need of a mopping. They are mostly wood and vinyl in the kitchen. Or cement in the basement. Pros: 1) noise: this is a quieter robot than all but 1 other I’ve tried 2) intelligent programming: the functions even on random do a much better/smarter job of floor coverage than other bots I’ve used especially mopping where it generally goes in back and forth rows to cover the whole space 3) gentle: it is less rough about bumping into furniture and walls and does a good job going around legs of furniture making a nice circle. (We called another robot Agrobot and bully bot because it would shove furniture around and literally took off a chunk of paint on the corner of my cabinetry) 4) water quantity: this got the floors damp but not wet which is very important for wood especially and I could walk on them again about 20 minutes later without leaving footprints in the mop job 5) mop pad: the mop pad is the width of the vacuum (which is also a decent width and not as small as other models more like a roomba size) so it has better coverage. 6) cleaning tool attached: it comes with a little tool to cut hair and things off the vacuum roller that fits in right next to the collection bin. This was a great design choice 7) extras: they included extra of the front sweeper brushes, a filter, magnetic stripping to keep it out or off certain areas and even a small pack of zip ties to help keep your wires out of the tikom’s path. Cons: 1) receptacle size: the size of the collection tray isn’t large better than some but smaller than a vacuum only bot. It is good that it more separated than the one model I tried so it stays dry. The design is easy to empty. The water section is also very small but I haven’t had an issue with it running out in the about 700ish square feet where I run it. 2) No cleaning liquid: you’re only supposed to put water in the mop and there isn’t any option for somewhere to add a cleaning solution. This is true across all the mopbots I’ve tried so I just spray my cleaning solution straight on the floor, but it is a convenience I hope will be available on future models. 3) Home: it’s not the worst or the best at getting back on its dock. This seems to be a design flaw in robot vacuum in general though. Maybe I need to anchor the charger somehow so it can’t move. 4) Mop pad attachment: I have a hard time trying to get the pads looped over the 3 front pieces and velcroed flat on the pad, but it seems to work with other non proprietary pads as well so I’m happy enough with it. Overall I would recommend you try this if you want a mopping vacuum boy.

> 3 dayOnce I heard there were robot vacuums that mopped, I started looking. We have had a Roomba that doesnt mop for about 6 years. I bought the Tikom G8000 based on all the features compaired to the price. I’ve been using it for about a week now. In compairing the 2 machines, my Roomba was expensive like 800 dollars. The G8000 only 230. Roomba drives faster but driving faster doesnt get the job done faster and is more of a problem. The Roomba bangs into things hard. Harder than I or anyone would like. You can even see in the picture along the base of the black one all the scrapes from the moulding, chairs and doors. It is not gentle all. Roomba also has no pattern. To me, it makes no sense how it moves and it ends up going over the same places a bunch of times so it takes much longer. Roomba also seems to want to drive where it can get into trouble. Its weird, it really seems like it wants to get stuck or get caught up on things. I’m constantly yelling “ROOMBA! Don’t be an idiot!”. Roomba is LOUD. Another thing, it only has one brush that seems to mostly throw things around the room. Ok so remember this while I tell you about The Tikom. The very first thing you notice is its sleek look that is a tad bit smaller and lower than Roomba AND how extremely quiet it is! WOW we can watch TV or talk and relax in the same room with it now! It moves about 30% slower than Roomba but I tell ya, it gets the same job done in half the time. It has a pattern. A smart pattern and it has 2 brushes that are positioned so one brush feeds the other and sends the mess right into the vacuum to be sucked up. It gets everything. We have parrots. Small ones, but 3 of them. The seeds and other bird food that gets dropped on the floor is non stop. The fluff from the bottom of the cages and small feathers are always pushed out onto the floor. Tikom gets it all on one pass. Tikom is also SO MUCH GENTLER on everything even the dog just sat there because G8000 slowed down upon approaching him and touched him so softly then turned away. YAY no more banged up furniture or chipped paint! It’s also much easier to empty the trash compartment. Then there is the mop feature. Being that Tikom has its even movement pattern, it mops the whole kitchen without missing anything. It cleans so evenly on both tile and hardwood floors too. All in all I am very happy. Low price, quiet, careful, efficient and smart about how it moves. I doubt I will ever be frustrated with it or have to yell at it and it seems it’s built so well it will last many years. Its great when you can buy something and it is as good as it says it is.

> 3 dayI placed its charging station under a cabinet, where its out of site. It has no problem finding its way back to it when I tell it to go charge, even if it might take a while when there are many obstacles. Its really been a great help since we got a cat. It catches the cat hair and litter that the cat brings out from the litter box. The amount of dirt and hair I empty out after it runs for a couple of hours is impressive, and proof of the vacuums efficacy. Its easy to operate with the remote. I did not download and test the phone app. The English in the instruction manual is pretty bad, so I didnt want to get the app. The battery seems to last for about two hours, as the product claims. Its more than enough. It gets stuck under furniture that are just the right hieght -- I have a few of those, unfortunately. The included magnetic strip helps avoid those traps. The way the vacuum navigates in a room and around obstacles is really impressive. I tried the mopping as well -- its not great, but it works, and its a very nice addition for a vacuum at this price point. Overall - a great help in the house.
