> 3 dayYou have to be rather close to feel the heat. Maybe it is supposed to be that way with 60 Watt bulb. So, I returned. Also, it does heats the lamp socket really hot, even though it is only 60 watt.

> 3 dayThis bulb works great. The regular heat lamp wasn’t cutting it. I added this and my bearded dragon now has a much warmer basking spot.

Greater than one weekBe careful! One quick touch and it will easily burn you badly! My son barely touched it and has a 3rd degree burn and scar on his hand. I suggest buying a metal shield around it.

> 3 dayThis has been a great lamp for my indoor aviary parakeets. I attached it above the cage in a front corner, where the heat seeking birds can hang out. I like that it’s not too hot and can be left on 24/7 without using too much electricity.

Greater than one weekOne lasted right at a month.Edit- now the second bulb has came apart like the first.so basically once you screw it in to the fixture you can take it back out. When you unscrew the bulb the ceramic part separates from the metal bulb base.Very poor quality Dont waste your money
