I have never used a heat emitter before but it is working very well for my tortoise. My house is usually on the cold side and this helps keep his home the perfect temperature. Iv only had it a few days, but so far so good!

I have my bird cages in the garage and it is not heated garage. I covered the cages with a blanket and then put this heat-Lamp. My birds not only survived the Michigan winter they laid eggs and popped many babies...... I would definitely recommend this product.

It cranks out heat pretty good. Im just not sure if its enough to heat my whole snake cage.

Hardly warmed my ducklings from even 6 inches away. Burnt out completely after 4 days of consecutive use.

I bought this to keep my cat warm on cold winter nights, I had been using a 60w light bulb without any problem other than my thought the light itself my be bothering the cat. This is doing the job better than the light bulb without the light shinning. It keeps the temp 10-17 degrees warmer than the outside air in her sleeping quarters, We are both very happy with this product.
