> 24 hourThe 144hz 1440p monitor is flipping fantastic. I upgraded from a also pretty dope MSI Mag series 144hz curved monitor and this thing knocks it out of the water in terms of color reproduction and overall image quality. Sure the jump from 60hz to 144hz is huge, but the jump from 1080p to 1440p is also a pretty big trip. Text is really sharp on this thing and the sheer amount of screen real estate makes almost necessary to have multiple things going on at once. The 165hz is made possible by turning off freesync and fiddling with the monitor settings in windows and the tradeoff is ok but either is great really. Its not quite perfect as when I put up my pixel to the monitor the colors are considerably less vibrant and while streaming quality varies from device to device, while watching Game of Thrones infamous S8E2 there was more choppy black to dark grey transitions on this monitor than my phone. Might be a combination of OLED vs VA and phone vs PC but just thought Id let it out there. Brightness is also not quite to the level of being able to have a window left wide open on a sunny day, but it hasnt left me asking for more often.

> 24 hourThe case and cover on this excellent little monitor are made of durable ABS plastic. Here is my rundown: Pros: Super compact, light, single Type-C cable for signal+power+audio, moderately bright, anti-reflective matte screen. 60Hz. Nice packaging w-decent power adapter + cables. Compact/minimalist stand +flip cover. Sufficient rear-firing sound, but not loud. Super thin and easily packed. Cons: A little edge/backlight bleed from IPS panel - but not a real problem, Volume setting is not remembered after sleep/wake or power off cycle (always resets to 50%). Bottom line: Recommended!

> 24 hourIts a great screen with anti-glare. Runs on a 5v battery pack, has thru port charging, Hdmi and usb-c. It even has sterio speakers with descent quality for their size. We used it on a long cross country flight to play movies and retro arcades so the little one would not try to handle the phones to get the screen closer to watch. Its perfect. I hang it on the back of my seat so the kid can watch stuff while on long road trips. Just plug it in to the phone and i can controll it without even turning around. It comes with a good quality power block and all the cables, except mini hdmi to mini hdmi. thats no big deal cause thats an uncommon setup now a days .

> 24 hourWindows 10 inherently has scaling issue when you have a big sized monitor/high resolution like this one in a multi-monitor setup. My text and overall windows toolbar/apps text were blurry and shadowed, fiddling Windows cleartype settings didnt do much, not even the scaling to beyond 100%. I had to apply the registry hack (also there is a tool that does the job i.e. Windows 10 DPI fix ) and after that, the monitor and windows 10 danced together nicely. Texts are sharp and clear, toolbar menu is all nice as it should be. This is not this monitors fault evidently. For normal desktop use, you wont find it much different than your regular office monitor but its when you are gaming, thats when it shines gloriously. Gears 5 is much more vivid that before on my old LG monitor. The only thing Im missing on this monitor is the ability to tilt and swivel. That is a basic necessity these days for a monitor, I hope the manufacturer will incorporate this in their future models. Overall happy with my purchase. Now back to my Gears 5 mission. :)

> 24 hourBought it for work. I do allot of two screen work with detail floor plans etc. Needed to have something that was about the same height at the tablet we get and this fits that perfectly. The screen is clear and sound is decent but a little lower than you would probably want for watching video but it being so thin I think it would be difficult to get much more. The screen comes with a whole whack of cables so you have a number of ways to connect it to your specific computer. I tried to use a USB-C from a docking system but the dock didnt seem to like the configuration and kept tried to reset the monitor. I ended up going directly from my table to the monitor with a USB-C and powering it off the other USB-C. The reason for the 4 star rating is there seems to be no way to keep the settings for brightness or sound so every day I have to crank up the brightness and sound, which is a little inconvenient. Besides that it is a very good monitor that fits in my laptop bag so great for traveling if thats what you are planning to do.

> 24 hourThe brightness issues other have mentioned dont seem to be an issue with my unit. Also they included a display port 1.2 6ft cable in the box. The included cable is suitable for 1440p 165hz. Was able to enable g-sync at the 165hz as well with the included cable. I used the monitor color profile provided by Hardware Unboxed $5 Patreon rewards and the colors look great with that profile applied through windows. All in all, probably the best 2k 165hz FLAT panel monitor you can get for the price. Was thinking about getting the G5 odyssey but held off as I really wanted a flat panel opposed to a curved one. Build quality is great, and Wendel from Level1 Tech on YT had high praises of this monitor as well. And they do a lot of cheap Korean monitor reviews. Dont be put off by the brand name, the monitor and panel does what it claims to do a the best price on the market. Also has an OSD crosshair you can enable for games that dont offer one or in case the game you are playing has a crosshair you dont like, you can disable the in game crosshair and use the OSD one instead.

> 24 hourWell I didn’t do very much research before buying this and now I regret that. The response time on this monitor is horrible. During normal usage(eg. scrolling on chrome) the ghosting is pretty apparent. When playing games, especially fps that have dark areas(like CoD), the ghosting is horrible. Even with the overdrive setting to the max it was still pretty bad, although the setting change did help a little. Overall I’d say if you are a competitive gamer or just want something quality that looks nice, this is not the monitor for you, even for a good price this isn’t worth it. For people who aren’t using this for gaming or fast paced things it might work, because the picture quality and brightness were decent, along with no dead pixels. In the end you’d probably be much better off with an asus for the same price. I ended up returning mine because the ghosting makes it not much better than a 60 or 100hz monitor

> 24 hourThis monitor has blown my mind to pieces. The 165hv refresh rate while I’m playing games really is noticeable. The reason why I have given this 4 stars is because the display cable that came with the monitor was complete trash. The screen would go black and would have white specks on it. Besides the faulty cable , the monitor itself is incredible. Flawless color, no tearing or dead pixels. I very highly recommend this monitor for the price. Just make sure you have a spare hdmi cable just in case.

> 24 hourLet me start by saying there is nothing really wrong with the product. Just be aware that if you HAVE to have a 32 1440P monitor and you have to stay within budget, then this monitor will do. Now, I spent a couple of days researching and talking with support to see how to fix the issues I had: 1- Picture was washed out 2- There were auras around bright objects in gameplay, like some flowers in Minecraft 3- The introduction to Assasins Creed which is already heavy photo-negative was an almost full negative effect 4- RedRedemption 2 - the hair (especially beards) were even funkier than they normally are 4 OSD was very quirky After a couple of back and forth between Pixio and EVGA, one saying it was the GPU (GTX 3060 Ti) and the other one blaming the monitor, I took the card out and tested it on my old PC with a 1080P monitor. The picture was clear and the colors vibrant. I put the GPU back in my new build and connected the older 32 LG 1080P monitor with the same results. With this, I KNEW it wasnt the GPU. Sadly there was nothing else the guys at Pixio could do so I decided to return the monitor. I went with a smaller 27 LG (LG-27GL850-B) that I got at Best Buy for around $499. The picture is beautiful, with no auras or ghosting and PnP for G-Sync. Basically what I was expecting when I went from 1080P to 1440P. Of course, the 1ms response helps :)
