This one has less blade noise than other 40mm fans I have used but that may be just a result of its not spinning as fast as some. Moves enough air for things in its appropriate application range.

> 24 hourUpdate: Originally thought it was DOA. It was to replace a working, but noisy fan. When I plugged this one in, it would not spin. I verified the voltage, and assume this item was defective. I later discovered that the keyed socket and fan it was replacing are reversed polarity from any other fan.

Reduced motor hub size
Thanks to its streamlined, compact motor design, the NF-A4x10"s motor hub is smaller than with conventional 4cm fans. This allows for more blade surface area and thus contributes to the NF-A4x10"s superior airflow and pressure performance.
