Its really soft i really havent used it alot but the hamster loves it

my hamster loves this sand ! i originally had some bath dust instead of sand… but that was before i knew that it’s potentially very bad for there respiratory system & they are very clean animals. i looked into other options when it was clear she wasn’t a fan. she pees & plays in it which is great. little to no smell when covered. i got it with the intention for her to use the bathroom in order to maintain bedding a little longer. it also gives her another form of enrichment to have something so easy to dig in. niteangel also makes a hamster safe litter so i might test that out as well, but i think any hammy would love this addition. it may be a little pricy but it’ll last you a while (if you scoop) & it’s hamster safe which is the upmost important thing.

Bag is kinda small but good quality and easy to clean, purchase a strainer with it and itll last a while

I get a kick out my lil hamster when she gets new sand in her bathtub. She rolls around on her back, runs around her cage, comes back and rolls around again. She cracks me up! Its her favorite place in her cage. We have ordered this same brand 2xs and been very happy with it

This is the first and so far only sand Ive purchased for my hamster and he immediately started using it as his letterbox! I was so happy! He really loves it to roll around in then pottys in the corner.

We place this sand in one of the Niteangel bowls and our hamster loves it. He immediately potty trained himself to pee in here and it makes life so much easier. I only have to clean the sand out to keep his area smelling nice. The sand is smooth and quality. Better then the sand at our local beaches!

I use this in my babies Potty it is super absorbent and does not smell of Urine of course besides my coffee this is my first chore to clean it and add fresh sand to it . They love their sand and it is so easy to clean .

I find this sand to be a bit sandy . If you could reduce the sandy a bit it would be the best sand ever!!
