Ive only had this for a week, but so far I have am quite happy with it. It is a simple to use, inexpensive, gigabit switch that appears robust. Whats not to like?

Using this to split signal for multiple entertainment devices, TV, SuperBox, etc...took 5 min to setup, works exactly as expected. Great value for the price.

Expanded my ethernet drops without a glitch

The switch works as Id expect it to. One feature I wasnt expecting was an on/off switch on the side. The only thing I dont like about it is the power adapter is on the opposite side of the ports; Id prefer everything to be on the same face.

We just build a new house and all of the rooms are wired for internet. The problem is that the router that we were provided only had so many ports. I bought this to help extend the number of ports that we had available. NETGEAR is my go to for switches like this and this one did not disappoint. I was not looking for anything managed so this hit the mark 100%. Install is a breeze as you just plug it into power, plug in your internet input and then you have 7 other ports to plug into for the rooms in your home. I will be doing a whole home network with some pro grade equipment, but this has been an amazing band-aid until I have the time to get that all laid out and up and running. I will hold on to it just in case there are any other hubs or devices that I might want to run once inside of a room that might need some extra ports.

Love the PoE. Anything to use less cords.
