NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS308) - Home Network Hub, Office Ethernet Splitter, Plug-and-Play, Silent Operation, Desktop or Wall Mount

Had the 8 port Prosafe managed switch. Needed more ports so I purchased this one. I copy a lot of large files and noticed this switch is slower than my 8 port (5 minutes instead of 2.5 minutes per 2GB). Still, much faster than 100 meg switches!

Item was defective Netgear customer service was horrendous to deal with and kept dragging out the return now Im stuck in limbo with a paperweight

Awesome and easy setup

I use this switch to connect my ethernet devices together. It is plug and play (no software required). One of the devices is also a WiFi router. SO I can connect my hard wired ethernet devices with my WiFi devices. This switch does the trick for me at up to Gigabit speeds at a low cost. I am happy with the results.

Everything works as expected. My signal is strong out of all ports. It is a solid unit. No better product for the price.

This couldnt be easier. I was a little surprised to get no instructions with this, but it turns out you dont need any. Just start jamming cables in the ports and it does the right thing. Even mounting it on the wall was easy. I have had this powered on continuously for about 4 months now with no trouble.

I have used this switch for some time without failure. It wired my whole house and delivers fast reliable connection. Never an issue after about a year.

The NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit was very easy to set up and use. Just plug-in the power and then plug in your Ethernet and away you go. 100% up and going just that easy.
