So far so good works fine on my Xbox and Playstation laptop link with my smart TV they all operate fine it switches them automatically so far no problems

I got the 300 series switch today and hooked it up right away. I was not getting great speed with it but it was working enough to maybe deal with it for awhile. We have T-Mobile Home Internet and it has trouble reaching the other end of our mobile home. So I ran cable to use it wired at the other end with this switch. It started dropping off pretty quick...approximate time was roughly 2 hours in after being in use it popped my breaker and was smoking! I did not hesitate trying to get it out of the house so I ended up grabbing it and burned my fingers and dropped it on my leg and burned my leg too. Threw it out my door.

I needed to connect several workstations and a server with reliable Gb speeds. With so many household wifi devices, I experienced random slowdowns. This switch fit the need perfectly.

So easy to install and work great for what I needed.

Dead on arrival. Not a power adapter issue as I tested it with another NETGEAR 12V/1A adapter. :-(

Its an unmanaged switch. When it was working, it was just fine. But after just over a month of usage, it inexplicably stopped working. The power LED was blinking green and none of the ports worked.

Working perfectly. No news means working. No maintenance.

I bought two of these and they worked Ok. The VLAN interface is difficult to work with but it did work. So I bought two more because they were inexpensive. Neither of the second to worked, I could not get to the web interface setup page at 192.168.0.239 even though I could ping that address. I used the Netgear switch discovery tool which found the device but still I could not access the setup page. I noticed the two that dont work had a firmware version of 1.00.10 while the two that do work have firmware 1.00.11. If you cant get to the setup page, you cant update the firmware. Netgear needs to ship products that work. Ive wasted too much time on this simple task.

TL;DR RMA is more expensive than the switch itself to honor the warranty, just buy a new one.
