Greater than one weekNote that this GS308 is for gigabit ONLY. If you have a wired printer or wired streaming device then probably it uses Fast ethernet at only 100 megabit/second, and will NOT work with this GS308; get the GS108 instead.

> 3 dayI needed a switch so I could run just one cable from my modem/router to the office so I purchased this and it is perfect. You just plug your router then plug the devices you need internet on and youre done! I have noticed absolutely no loss in speed or quality. Great product overall

> 3 dayInternet is unstable so it’s hard to review a product when the ISP gives bad service. There’s no need to contact netgear techs until we get proper speeds from Cox

> 3 dayI’m very happy with this switch, it’s well made and reasonably priced. The 8 ports are more than enough for most home setups. My only complaint was the instructions were awful and that’s why I deducted one star. I had to call customer service to clarify something and the hold time was extremely long. That said once I got my answer it’s been smooth sailing. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs additional Ethernet ports.

> 3 dayI didnt want to believe all the talk of netgear switches being unreliable...so I bought this switch because the price was attractive. But I deeply regret my purchase now. Its been less than 2 months and the switch just died. No connection to any ethernet port...without any ethernet cable plugged into the switch, the link lights stay on at random, which indicates that its stuck in some sort of weird fault condition...and there is absolutely no way to reset it (no reset button). In this time when people are working from home, you need reliability in your networking products and netgear has proven to be trash.

> 3 dayWifi is nice but sometimes you just cant beat a wired connection. My TV was having issues getting a steady wifi signal and I needed to expand the ports of my router. Product works great! Easy to use and easy to set up. plug and play and forget.
