I needed to be able to connect peripherals like network printer, primary computer, wife gateway for garage doors, etc...this works perfect and gives me a couple ports if I need to expand/add any other peripherals to the network. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayKnowing that nothing lasts forever I paid for the Pro version to get a lifetime warranty. Have a 16 and 2 - 8 ports for home use. These are on all day/everyday. Finally after 5 years this one started acting up. Called support and had already pre-registered the unit and they gave me my options. Paid to ship to them and looks like it will be a fast 4 days turn around for the new one. Very happy with the unit, choice to pay for the pro version, price paid, and customer support experience.

This fit the bill to expand the number of ports downstream at the television so I can plug in multiple hardwire devices to my network. Simple, reliable, inexpensive - what else do you want? Will buy another.
