    I was skeptical about the reviews but I was having extremely painful back spasms halfway into my second trimester and decided I needed a band. I wish I had used it earlier. Although I haven’t used it more than a few times, I almost cried in relief because I could get around and do things standing without being contorted and in pain. I got occasional spasms especially in my quadratus lumborum before my pregnancy but it is more frequent these days. This has been a godsend so far.

    I used this from when I started showing all the way up until I gave birth . With out this brace I walked so slow and after a while I’d have to bend forward from all the weight of my baby , even to stand straight . When I had this on I was able to stand up straight and walk for longer periods of time .

    I bought this at the suggestion of my PT friend when I was early in my second trimester. My torso is short so I popped early and my back was constantly in pain. I walked daily and taught yoga and dance classes but had to reduce/stop them because of the pain. Even just standing to do laundry or the dishes or at my computer for work put a strain on my back. After getting this belt, I was able to be mobile again! I can go on hikes, teach my classes, do household chores, etc without being in tons of pain. Highly recommend. I’m 5’6” and pre-pregnancy was 140 lbs and bought the medium. My only comment is to use it during physical activity because I do sometimes find it constraining (maybe a larger size would’ve helped it be more of a constant thing). But for me it works great to wear during activity and then take it off when I’m relaxing. Definitely get one! Back pain is not worth it!

    I am 7 months pregnant now (2/25/18). I have been struggling with severe lower left sided back pain since November 2017; extremely early in pregnancy. It was at the point where I couldnt stand for more than 30 minutes (previously I had been biking 10 miles a day so I never had back problems or pain). It progressed to the point where I couldnt stand for more than 10 minutes without feeling as though I was being stabbed repeatedly in my left lower back. Sitting was the only thing that relieved the pain. I dont have to stand much at work luckily, but when I did it was excruciating. I also have to stand on the train on my commute home for about 30 minutes. I didnt know how I would continue working. After I was worked up for everything from muscle strain to kidney stones with negative results a friend recommended a support belt. I found this one on amazon that got great reviews. I was skeptical because I didnt think anything could take away the pain. It does! Its amazing. Its a little cumbersome to put on at first. It has three parts. The belly band, the back band that attaches to the belly band via velcro and the band across the upper abdomen that attaches to the back band via velcro. It completely takes away my lower back pain and some abdominal pain Im having as my belly gets bigger. I wear it for 12 hours a day during work days. The only thing I have to do is adjust it during the day as it will ride up a bit when sitting. I also recommend, if you are planning on wearing it under your shirt like most people probably do at work, is to wear it over a tank top or under shirt as the edges can rub against the skin sometimes and be a little irritating (though it could be I did not have it velcrod well. I was 155lbs 54 pre pregnancy. The recommended size for me was a medium, but based on measurements could have also measured a large (I was in between). I decided to go with the large just in case and it fits perfectly. It fit well when I purchased it a couple months ago and it still fits perfectly with room for the next 2 months. So happy with this purchase!

    I bought this to give some relief to the pelvic pain I’ve been suffering from a majority of my second and now third trimester. I figured I was going to have to deal with it for the rest of my pregnancy when my chiropractor suggested I sleep with a body pillow…..which ended up relieving more pain than this belly band ever did. It is nice to have if you are going to be doing extensive exercise though, so I do still use it on occasion.

    Great support for pregnancy, especially for walking around or working on your feet!

    I got this for my sister because after hearing how much pain her lower back hurt from her pregnancy I had to find her something for that relief and she said it helped so much. She wore it everywhere, everyday until she gave birth. She said it was comfortable enough and had no problem wearing it under her clothes. She said she wouldn’t recommend wearing it with skin tight things because it will be obvious there is something there. Seriously if your on the fence about it, she recommends it highly. It saved her so many tears and so much back pain.

    I’m so glad I got this belly band!! If my back is aching and stiff or it feels like my belly is tugging too much, I put this on and it’s instant relief. I’m able to sit down and lounge wearing it and I sometimes wear it for five minutes in bed if I wake up with a sore back. I love that this belly band has a back support. I think it’s my favorite part of this item, it supports everything. Not many other belly bands has this feature and that was the deciding factor for this purchase. I find using the strap that goes over the belly does give it more support. I bought a medium size at the beginning of my third trimester and bought a second one in a large size in the third half of my third trimester because I underestimated how much my belly would grow. I love this, I wear it everyday. It takes a few tries at the beginning to find the right tightness for the belly band. I made the mistake of tightening it too much and it hurt my tummy. Plus baby was kicking against the pressure.

    To be fair this worked for me at first. However, as my belly grew bigger to 8 months, the back piece was not sticking onto the front piece which was the most important part for me while at work for support. So I had to find a different band/belt.

How to choose the right size?

For this maternity girdle we recommend you to measure the circumference of your belly (from the lower back to the bottom of your belly which is around the area where the belt will be worn) and choose a belt according to the belt sizes in the description in the lower range of your measurement in order to plan for belly growth.

S: 33-40" / 85-102cm belly circumference;

M: 38-44" / 97-112cm belly circumference;

L: 42-49" / 107-125cm belly circumference;

XL: 46-54" / 116-137cm belly circumference;

XXL: 52-60.5" / 131-154cm belly circumference.

Customizable two-sided hooks and loops band!

Double-sided hooks and loops band!

The "hooks" side will stick to the abdominal pad and the "loops" side will receive the "hooks" side of the back support for more adhesion (see step 3 of instructions below)

Measure belly growth!

When you initially wear the belt, keep only the length of hooks and loops band that you need for adhering the back support to the abdominal pad (see step 2 of instructions below). When belly grows you will gradually stick the hooks and loops fabric more to the side of the abdominal pad, then you can cut the hooks and loops band that sticks out once again. The length that you cut equal the amount of belly growth!

Comfortable abdominal pad!

It is important for the abdominal pad to be as comfortable as possible.

It is positioned a little above the pubic area under your belly and while walking it will move a little and rub on your belly.

We understand this and have chosen a fabric that is cushioned, resistant and provides the best level of comfort!

This product is designed for walking or standing position. When sitting, we recommend to detach the hooks and loops fabric for more comfort

Breathable fabric!

The fabric is constructed of a multi-layered laminate with an ELASTIC lining combining breathability, elasticity and comfort!

The level of comfort of the back support is as important as the abdominal pad as it might rub on your back while walking/moving and will get hot and wet if not breathable.

The NeoTech Care maternity belt is highly breathable, comfortable and also provides the elasticity needed to hug your body"s shape perfectly and give proper support for your lower back!

Instructions (for video look in product pictures section)

  1. Center the abdominal pad under your abdomen and attach with hooks and loops fabric with the desired level of support.
  2. Cut the hooks and loops band that is labelled "Cut the extra hooks and loops band you don"t need" to keep a length that matches the border of the abdominal pad . The hooks and loops band should cover the abdominal pad but not more. As the belly grows and position of the hooks and loops fabric on abdominal pad changes, you might want to cut the hooks and loops band again (more explanations below).
  3. Attach the hooks and loops fabric of the back support to the location on the abdominal pad that provides the desired tension.
  4. To help keep the support in place and keep from sliding down, stretch the top strap over your stomach and attach both sides to the hooks and loops fabric on the back support
