> 3 dayI purchased this when I purchased my new car with leather interior. My previous car had leather indentations from my daughters car seat. I didnt realize the damage that had been done until I switched her to a booster. The indentions never went away. When I had my son, I didnt want to make the same mistake. I have tested this out for 6 months now and it has worked very well! I have periodically taken it out to vacuum and check my seat. There are zero indentations. The extra bonus is I dont have to vacuum under it because it catches all the crumbs. It has a raised edge all the way around the base that acts as a crumb catcher. Why did I give it only 4 stars? Here are the reasons, it sits awkward in my seat. I have a Prius with bucket type seats and this just doesnt sit right another issues, I wish I could get the same color as my seat. This dark color sticks out like a sore thumb on my light brown seats. It also shows dirt quickly. Other than a few cosmetic complaints I would certainly purchase this again!

> 3 dayWe purchased one for each of our cars to mostly help reduce the indentions and marks from the car seat. So far, so good. They are a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Would recommend.

> 3 dayI read the positive reviews on this and I can agree. Our Britax car seat left creases in the leather of our seats, so we gave this a try. It allowed the leather to heal as I had hoped. Whenever I remove our car seat I use leather cleaner and conditioner to keep them soft, so that might also attribute. As far as the Britax Warranty goes, I dont understand what they would warranty and what that would have to do with whats under the car seat or how they would even know. Britax is the company that suggests using a pool noodle to level out the child seat, so what would a mat differ, Britax SELLS the same thing, except its inadequate for seat protection. Some people dont even understand how to install a car seat or fit their child in it, so Im not going to rely to heavily on the internetz for all of my advice. I will say Im glad I did for this product. Thank You to all of the positive reviewers.

> 3 dayI needed this for my new MYP and didnt want to scuff or leave an indent in the seat. I saw cheaper versions but they didnt have any support or rigidity to it so its no different than a towel. So I ended up with this just because a stiffer thicker material is less likely to allow whatever it is on top to deform the seat cover. And its been 2000 miles later with my kid and his baby seat on top and theres no sign anything has been on top. Glad I got this instead of cheaping out

> 3 dayThe problem with car seats and leather surfaces is due to indentations that the plastic angles of the car-seat make in leather, stretching the seat cover and sometimes even scratching the leather. Took >2 month on my leased car to get back into original shape after just a year install time, so I got worried. I first bought Diono Grip It protector, and although it is sticking to leather well and protects against the scratches, the indentations were still there. So I decided to try this protector, and wasnt disappointed: although BRICA is more expensive than DIONO, it is well worth it. First, the material is really heavy: it is a hard surface, barely bendable, and when you apply angular pressure from one side with sharp object, you dont get the indentation through (DIONO is soft surface, and the plastic presses through it). Second, it is very wide, hence all sizes of seats will fit well. Finally, the blue rubber on the bottom does provide some sliding protection, but not great. No idea if it will stick to leather or make color smudges, - will update my review if it does Note: people complain that these protectors are not safe, because with them the seat may slide sideways during crash. My experience is that you need to tighten the child seat to the actual car seats anchors with a lot of force. In this case it does not matter if these is a protector between these - it wont move. This is really why the soft protectors like DIONO, or no protectors at all, make damage to leather surfaces, but it is how the car seats must be used for safety reasons. After seeing how well this protector is made and the effect compared to DIONO, I bought another for my 2nd car. I definitely recommend this product to protect your leather seats Update (2/11/2014): I am extremely satisfied with this protector. No color bleed from blue stripes, they do provide good anti-sliding effect, and there are no indentations on leather surfaces on either of my cars. This product rocks!

> 3 dayWe have a Chevy Equinox end use the Graco 4-Ever car seat. This covers the seat very well, and hangs over the front by about 4 inches. We’ve had one for 3 years and the other for 8 months. Love them! Keeps the seats clean, especially when rear facing and dirty toddler shoes are constantly touching the seat (even in the winter with snow and salt). Easily wipes clean. No soak-through. Doesn’t slip or move around at all. (Though we install the car seat VERY firmly, so I’m sure that helps).
