> 24 hourThese seem to work really well. Super easy to install (feels weird even calling it install .... you literally just put the loop over the headrest) and it stays in place seemingly forever. Its been six months for us, and I have never had to readjust or fuss with it. If youre using LATCH to install your base, it makes it a bit more of an exercise to find the hooks, but I think that just depends on the car. The one time it was removed for us, we did find a few miscellaneous items that had snuck underneath, but I am sure it is a mere fraction of what would have been under there without it. Also, you know, you have a baby, so things might get a little messy... never going to be able to completely prevent that!

> 24 hourMy only regret is that I didn’t get this sooner. It’s durable and saves my leather seats from being battered.

> 24 hourMy husband is absolutely OCD when it comes to his car. He keeps his car in pristine condition. So naturally, when we had a child and needed a car seat, he did immense research on how to protect the leather seats from getting destroyed. We found this seat guard by reading the wonderful reviews here on Amazon and we were not disappointed. Now, we have two little ones (a newborn and a two-year old toddler) and ordered a second seat guardian. We absolutely love these dear guards because, unlike most seat guards in the market, they offer full seat coverage up the back down the front of the seat. Another plus is that it folds in half, if needed. These seat guards are large enough to fit in our Escalade. We have the two car seats side by side, which overlaps the seat guards a bit. This seat protector also does a great job protecting our car upholstery from crumbs and spills. We all know toddlers love to eat in the car and well, throw food everywhere. The seat guard also helps prevent against indentations in the upholstery, or the line of dirt often causes in the upholstery where crumbs and spills leave their mark on the outside of the seat. I absolutely recommend this for all parents with childrens car seats or booster seats. An absolute for all the OCD mommies and daddies out there as well :)

> 24 hourWe have an old 1998 3-series BMW, 4-door sedan with narrow, leather, bucket-ish type seats and a Chicco KeyFit30 car seat. The seat base would not stay put in the back seat no matter how it was positioned (side seats vs middle seat). It kept sliding back and forth, and the seat base was a bit wider than the curve of the seat, so it wouldnt stay centered either. I tried a few homegrown solutions, and they helped, but not enough. This protector was easy enough to install and even though it is a bit wider than the width of the seat, the seat base is able to be strapped in secured without sliding around. I wasnt sure it would be able to do that since the leather seats are narrow and sporty. The rubber straps really provide the seat base some traction and keep it steadfast. Couldnt be happier that our boy is now firmly secured. We will buy another one for our other vehicle that has the same problem.

> 24 hourThis is the car seat protector to end all car seat protectors. Ive had one in our SUV for years, and have never noticed any indentations in the leather. When we bought our new sedan, I initially bought a different cover that was only about $20 and came with a kick-protector for the seat in front. When I opened that one up, I realized that it might protect against spills, but it was too flimsy to protect against indentations. It also had a strange backing on it that I wasnt sure would be good for the leather in 100+ degree Texas heat. This seat protector has no weird adhesive material, but it stays in place just fine. It covers most of the back of the seat in my 2018 Camry, except for about 3 or 4 inches at the very top. Even with that shortfall, this is still the best car protector for us.

> 24 hourReceived our child seat cover a few days ago. I immediately could tell a difference in how secure my childs seat was on our leather seats. The non-slip pads on both sides with the Elite makes all the difference. The firmness of the protector also helps to distribute the pressure from pressure points from our childs seat. My kids are safer and my leather seats should be kept nicer.

> 24 hourThe problem with car seats and leather surfaces is due to indentations that the plastic angles of the car-seat make in leather, stretching the seat cover and sometimes even scratching the leather. Took >2 month on my leased car to get back into original shape after just a year install time, so I got worried. I first bought Diono Grip It protector, and although it is sticking to leather well and protects against the scratches, the indentations were still there. So I decided to try this protector, and wasnt disappointed: although BRICA is more expensive than DIONO, it is well worth it. First, the material is really heavy: it is a hard surface, barely bendable, and when you apply angular pressure from one side with sharp object, you dont get the indentation through (DIONO is soft surface, and the plastic presses through it). Second, it is very wide, hence all sizes of seats will fit well. Finally, the blue rubber on the bottom does provide some sliding protection, but not great. No idea if it will stick to leather or make color smudges, - will update my review if it does Note: people complain that these protectors are not safe, because with them the seat may slide sideways during crash. My experience is that you need to tighten the child seat to the actual car seats anchors with a lot of force. In this case it does not matter if these is a protector between these - it wont move. This is really why the soft protectors like DIONO, or no protectors at all, make damage to leather surfaces, but it is how the car seats must be used for safety reasons. After seeing how well this protector is made and the effect compared to DIONO, I bought another for my 2nd car. I definitely recommend this product to protect your leather seats Update (2/11/2014): I am extremely satisfied with this protector. No color bleed from blue stripes, they do provide good anti-sliding effect, and there are no indentations on leather surfaces on either of my cars. This product rocks!

> 24 hourThis would be a 5 star product If it actually was able to lie flat past the seat belt in our SUV
