> 3 dayThis is a nice protector. Its pliable enough that it conforms to the seat for the baby seat can fit snugly, but sturdy enough that I dont think the baby seat will leave marks in my leather car seats. A lot of people are complaining about the straps not being big enough to go around the headrests. 2 things. First, if you are using this with a forward facing seat this is not a big deal whatsoever. The car seat will hold the back of the BRICA in place firmly. There is no need to strap it in behind the headrest. Second, if you really need the straps and need to lengthen them you can easily find clips that will fit the BRICA ones and an extension strap in any outdoor/hiking store. They are a standard size clip. UPDATE AFTER MONTHS OF USE After a few months of regular use this is holding up very well. The BRICA still looks brand new. My car is well protected from the seat. I continue to be very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to others. I recently took the car seat out to clean it and the Brica looks brand new. The leather seats in my car show no signs of indentations, stains, crumbs, or anything else. This product has proved to be well worth every penny and is highly recommended.

Greater than one weekI read the positive reviews on this and I can agree. Our Britax car seat left creases in the leather of our seats, so we gave this a try. It allowed the leather to heal as I had hoped. Whenever I remove our car seat I use leather cleaner and conditioner to keep them soft, so that might also attribute. As far as the Britax Warranty goes, I dont understand what they would warranty and what that would have to do with whats under the car seat or how they would even know. Britax is the company that suggests using a pool noodle to level out the child seat, so what would a mat differ, Britax SELLS the same thing, except its inadequate for seat protection. Some people dont even understand how to install a car seat or fit their child in it, so Im not going to rely to heavily on the internetz for all of my advice. I will say Im glad I did for this product. Thank You to all of the positive reviewers.

Greater than one weekThe problem with car seats and leather surfaces is due to indentations that the plastic angles of the car-seat make in leather, stretching the seat cover and sometimes even scratching the leather. Took >2 month on my leased car to get back into original shape after just a year install time, so I got worried. I first bought Diono Grip It protector, and although it is sticking to leather well and protects against the scratches, the indentations were still there. So I decided to try this protector, and wasnt disappointed: although BRICA is more expensive than DIONO, it is well worth it. First, the material is really heavy: it is a hard surface, barely bendable, and when you apply angular pressure from one side with sharp object, you dont get the indentation through (DIONO is soft surface, and the plastic presses through it). Second, it is very wide, hence all sizes of seats will fit well. Finally, the blue rubber on the bottom does provide some sliding protection, but not great. No idea if it will stick to leather or make color smudges, - will update my review if it does Note: people complain that these protectors are not safe, because with them the seat may slide sideways during crash. My experience is that you need to tighten the child seat to the actual car seats anchors with a lot of force. In this case it does not matter if these is a protector between these - it wont move. This is really why the soft protectors like DIONO, or no protectors at all, make damage to leather surfaces, but it is how the car seats must be used for safety reasons. After seeing how well this protector is made and the effect compared to DIONO, I bought another for my 2nd car. I definitely recommend this product to protect your leather seats Update (2/11/2014): I am extremely satisfied with this protector. No color bleed from blue stripes, they do provide good anti-sliding effect, and there are no indentations on leather surfaces on either of my cars. This product rocks!

> 3 dayI have an older van with cloth seats so I really don’t care about the pad making marks on my seat lol. I think kids do a lot more damage to a vehicles interior than a pad…. Anyway. I recently detailed my cozy old van and wanted to protect the cloth from wet, muddy shoes and spilled snacks being caked into the seat. It’s great! Feels very sturdy, I like that it’s crash tested, it does exactly what I need it to do. Maybe my van can stay a little nicer now for a little longer.

> 3 dayThese seem to work really well. Super easy to install (feels weird even calling it install .... you literally just put the loop over the headrest) and it stays in place seemingly forever. Its been six months for us, and I have never had to readjust or fuss with it. If youre using LATCH to install your base, it makes it a bit more of an exercise to find the hooks, but I think that just depends on the car. The one time it was removed for us, we did find a few miscellaneous items that had snuck underneath, but I am sure it is a mere fraction of what would have been under there without it. Also, you know, you have a baby, so things might get a little messy... never going to be able to completely prevent that!

> 3 dayThis was a nice quality seat protector. But, in my Model Y, it covers the seat belt receiver. They are on the bottom of the seat, slightly below the surface, rather than sticking up and out of the seat. If your car has similar seatbelt receivers, try a smaller seat protector. Returning.
