I really enjoy the laptop overall but I had purchased a new one so I could have 2 USB ports. The specs on the Amazon page says that it has 2 USB ports. It only has one. I contacted the seller and have given them ample time to correct the page. It still says 2 ports. Hmm! Ill change my rating if they correct their mistake.

Heres the reality, the product is about impossible to work on, anything goes wrong, goodluck... The price is crazy high which wouldnt be so bad if the laptop was customizable internally. The fact is you will need to ask yourself, is this going to still be good and upto date in technologys standards by 10 years, I doubt it.

This computer is obviously very sweet. The touch screen, the lightweight it has great battery life too. It also charges up super quick, well worth the price.

Have one of these at work and liked it, so bought one for home. Computer completely freezes whenever the charging cord is unplugged from the machine. Defeats the purpose of having a laptop. I’ve had it to the computer repair shop three times including having them completely wipe the machine and reload Windows, but still have the same issue. Seller is no help once you are outside of 30 days.

To what extent is a company obligated to provide high quality products, even those not explicitly under warranty? After 6 months of general use (taking it in and out of my backpack, placing it on the coffee table, typing, etc.) the screen cracked. The location of the crack and lack of physical damage elsewhere on the computer (the frame isnt bent or scratch) prove the computer was not dropped or mishandled in any way. The screen was made of glass incapable of withstanding general use, and Microsoft is unwilling to replace a defective product because of the type of malfunction it had. A screen crack, regardless of how it occurred, is not a type of breakage their warranty covers, yet they made a screen of a material so fragile it can crack under the lightest of strain.

It is quite clear that is laptop is not a budget laptop. There are features here that are worth your money, and some that you can find done much better in other laptops for cheaper. The laptop I got had no issues upon arrival.

I bought the Surface Laptop 3 for work as a software engineer and its perfect. It the right size and with the dock (bought separately) I can easily go from a desktop experience to being on the go in just a couple of seconds. My only complaint is that 250gb just isnt enough storage space and other than an external ssd there really is no expansion capability. Hopefully Microsoft will fix that shortcoming in the future.
