These are very nice heating pads for smaller dogs. The temperature self-regulates so that my small dog is comfortable while resting on it, without worrying that she might overheat. This is the second pad Ive purchased, the first having lasted several years before being damaged (by me, accidentally). My dog seems to be happy with it, which is probably the best recommendation I can give.

Love it was worried that it wouldnt work not to hot not to cold. Has good length for plugging in.

Its summer. In Arizona. Well, I decided to give it a trial run any way. Plugged it in, placed the cat on it, 2 slow tail slaps and the purring began. Big stretch, turn the head upside down, cats asleep. We have a winner. Warms quickly, I would suggest placing this in an open bed rather than an enclosed one as it does warm quite a bit. Im kind of excited about winter now, maybe I can get the cat excited about some of the beds we have that he ignores now.

This small heating pad was installed in my 2nd homemade outdoors, insulated cat house and the cat is using it on cold days and nights frequently. Last years larger original project, housing 2 large cats outdoors year around with your large dogs size heating pad is still working. ( surviving 2 large cats for over a year now, even with scratching at pad for bed adjustments ) Your product has proven itself reliable in my book and made for 3 happy cats all year long, irregardless of the outdoor temps.

I have three new kittens that LOVE to chew on any and all cords they can get their little teeth on. This cord has definitely stood the test and hasn’t worn at all where they naw. My one complaint is that they can unplug it far too easily so I constantly have to plug it back in so they can stay warm in the winter months while I’m at work. All in all, great buy.

The heating pad is a nice size since I have a large cat. The heating element is very thin and fills the entire area of the outer cover. The removable outer cover does not have any padding and you can feel the wires running across the heating element through the cover. My cat doesnt seem to mind however. I suspect this pad is a little warmer than the one it is replacing (a different brand) as my cat doesnt lay on the heating pad as much as the previous one. But when it gets cold at night I see him laying on it so it is serving its purpose.

This was bought to place in the car seat that was originally bought for the dog, but the cat that is bling laid claim to it before it made it into the car. The cat loves the seat even more with the warmth, and she does not try to keep stealing the warmth of the heating pad my husband uses.

Took in five 3 week old foster kittens from rescue. They are now 8 weeks old and this pad has been plugged in 24/7 since. It does not get excessively hot. It was a good size for all 5 of them to pile on when they were tiny. Obviously since they got bigger they cannot all fit on it. It was great to keep them warm when the A/C is on and help them learn to regulate their body temp. Always allow a space for them to move off a heating pad. Love the added safety wrap on the cord. I imagine it would hold up well to young puppies. Chewing was not an issue with the kittens once they realized how hard the cord wrap was. Definitely recommend this product!

**update** I spoke to the company and they sent out the new upgraded version and I couldn’t be happier they were amazingly wonderful to work with and eager to make things right. I’ve never had a company that went so far out of their way to be helpful to their customers. Taking this up to a 5 star! I purchased two of these specifically because i have one dog who is a chewer but needs the warmth. I thought this product would be perfect. However, within the first day of use she had chewed through the cord completely. Thankfully the circuit breaker tripped otherwise my dog would be dead! I’m very displeased with this. If you have a dog who chews do not buy this product buy the upgrade to this one.

As we headed into Winter I wanted to make sure kitty had a warm place to be. Little did I know this would be her most favorite thing! She lies on it all day & probably would all night too if I left it on. The only unusual thing is it said you can control the temperature but I don’t see any place to do that. But despite that I still felt like it deserved 5 stars.
