Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

Cant complain. No issues at all, works fast, my OS boots in about 30 seconds. Been using it as my main OS hard drive for about 3-4 months now with zero issues.

Works very well, it such a huge change for my boot time, Going from almost 5min on my 1tb HHD to this SSD to 1.5min. It’s impressive how fast chrome loads and games as well. Install was super easy on my dell 7779.

I bought this drive to put in an Arcade machine that had an 80GB Hitachi hard drive in it originally. Boot times with the spinning disk were just over 3 minutes. With this SSD, boot time dropped to just under 2 minutes, so it still wasnt instant boot, but its a heck of a lot quicker! The computer running this system is old (celeron 2Ghz on an old Intel D865GLC motherboard), so throwing a better SSD at it didnt make any sense, and frankly I wanted to upgrade it as cheaply as possible, anyhow. For an older computer, or something that only sees light use like web surfing, etc, I dont think you can go wrong with this drive.
