This Kingston SSD is Rock solid. I run Vista on a 13 year old PC. There is no heat and they are very fast. I cant believe the price I paid and thats why I purchased two. One for the OS and one for storage. Thank you, Amazon.

Good product for price

This breathed new life into a a 12-ish year old PC Im still using. Booting into Win10 on the original 7200rpm HDD had been taking 3-5 minutes. Now it barely takes 1 minute.

Was easy to install and setup and worked well, until it didnt. Its less than three months into using and died. I am not a hardcore user here, I am a geek, so I know to have a data drive and OS drive, so set this up as my OS drive for faster boots, and since its OS I figure it has less changes happening considering its SSD. But came down this morning to a failed machine. Drive just is gone. Bios wont see it at all, swapped cables with one of the data drives, and data drive still shows up, but not this one. Very disappointing. Otherwise performance was good. But it really doesnt matter when I am down and have to wait for an RMA. And then the question becomes, do I trust the model/vendor going forward.

Product was good. I bought parts and had a friend to build pc for me. Unfortunately, he had a stroke and will be unavailable for a few months to recovery. I cannot build so return parts until later. Thanks you Amazon for the return policy.

it fits better than the original hdd. lighter and better. battery life improve. no more 3 min waiting for pc to boot. 10 secs and it is online.
