    I replaced the HDD in my Dell laptop with this SSD. I was very pleased with the speed increase... the PC booted and shut down much faster, and apps opened faster. The laptop dual boots Linux Mint and Windows 10, and both systems showed significant speed improvement.

    I’m so irritated I can hardly believe this. This drive is failing for no apparent reason. My other 5 drives work with no issue and I thought I could trust this Kingston drive to be my system drive but it will no longer boot windows. After several attempts at reinstalling windows to it I now have to decide to remove it or just run windows on a second m.2 drive or to use a hdd. It’s cheap for a reason. It doesn’t last and can’t handle being used as a boot drive.
