    Compared to a SATA hard drive, this drive is quite fast. I leave it to other reviewers to demonstrate the raw numbers, but suffice it to say that boot-up for Windows 10 is now under 30 seconds from power on to all programs loaded. One issue I ran into when installing was that the drive showed up in BIOS but nowhere in Windows--not even Device Manager or Disk Management. The solution was to open Device Manager and uninstall the Standard SATA AHCI Controller under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers. After a restart, the drive was available in Disk Management for formatting.
