I have four of these. They have run constantly since I purchased them, and while they lasted they were great for heating my insect tubs. (They were placed beneath the plastic tubs. The insects had no access to them.) Unfortunately, two of them failed this week. It would be fine if they just stopped heating, but instead they got hotter and hotter until they melted the plastic bins. This is not ideal. Ill need to find a new heating method, and some new bins.

I got this for my rats. They love it and they definitely chew the plastic black part off the cord. Just pay attention to the length of cord going into cage, cuz there is only so much of chew proof cord. I had to move it to the upper level because they were really into chewing it all up. But now it’s in a good place I even found a fuzzy cover for it on chewy.com so now it’s more cozy for them.

This mat is the perfect amount of heat for my bunny and I feel safe using it. The only downside is that the steel covering on the cord only goes halfway. This limits where I can put it in her room. She likes to lay with her legs on it but the rest of her body off. I think its helpful for her arthritis to keep her legs warm.

As advertised. Works well with our outdoor cat in an insulated cat box.

This is the best thing I could have bought for my pet rabbit. She i outside year round and has the best insulated, windproof cage ever. Has a fan blowing on her all summer in a shaded lean to also. She sits on it a lot and now no worries about the cold weather. From illinois and we get pretty rough winters. So far So good. worries at all about her getting cold.

My baby bunnies love this, it’s not to hot and it stays in their house with hay! We have left it on over night and it does not catch fire!!! Highly recommend.
