Perfect to mix with putting soil for African violets

I started propagating my favorite indoor plants and was looking for a nice light material that wouldnt destroy the tender roots. Unlike the chunky vermiculite my mom always had, this is super light, but very fine like sand, and extremely absorbent. My beautifully rooted cutting is doing so well and looks almost as good as the mother plant. I am very pleased, and look forward to replanting all of my new plants successfully all summer long. I dont have any lizards, so I wont be using it for that purpose, but if my granddaughter ever needs it for her pets, Ill let her know its available.

I bought this as a substrate for my crickets to help retain moisture (i am attempting to create a little colony) it works well. will definitely order again.
