Joshs Frogs Vermiculite (10 Quarts)

Needed vermiculite for my snake to nest. Couldnt find her usual anywhere, had to get her something though. Found this. Our usual vermiculite was more like soil, but this is more like sand. Wasnt sure she was happy with it at first, took a bit longer than normal for her to get comfy, but in the end she laid her eggs so it musta been alright.

Now, I think all the vermiculite on Amazon is over priced. But for amazons standards, this was fairly cheap for the amount you get. The vermiculite is nice and chunky, but not too big of chunks. Perfect for my use for it. Also the bag itself is nice, thick, and durable. So that was nice as well. Overall content with my order.

Love it! I tell everyone its like kitty litter for crickets!! Greatly decreases the stinkyness of the crickets. When they die it dries them out and they dont stink. I use about .5 inch in the bottom of the container and I can reuse it for the next batch of crickets if I want to conserve it. Makes keeping feeder crickets much nicer!

Its good, clean vermiculite. Will buy again.
