Sound quality is incredible. Battery is pretty good at mild volume but goes faster than you would hope at higher levels. Carry case is a really good idea with this model.

The speaker was like new I didnt notice any signs of second hand use. The sound is amazing and bass is really good. Im really starting to like the refurbished type of items because sometimes theyre even 100$ or more half off.

Well, these are pricey but if you want this amount of versatility, I believe they are worth it. I purchased two of the refurbished Xtremes and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I use them both at work and at home, inside and out. Pairing the two speakers is flawless. Choose between Stereo or Party mode. I have yet to play them at full volume.
