> 3 dayAdhered canvas top to rear window glass of convertible along bottom edge. This item didnt set up quick enough to fix this problem to begin with. I first used M50 GUOELPHANT instant adhesive for shoe repair and all purpose, sets in 10-30 seconds, from amazon. This helped to bond the rigid canvas to rear glass in reasonable time in small sections at a time. After this used JB Weld clear 5 minute quick set to apply a 1/4 bead along canvas top and back window seam. If you try this particular job clean and dry all surfaces well to insure a good bond.. Also used a wooden cuticle stick to mix and apply the JB Weld..Hope this helps someone..

> 3 dayIve been using this stuff for over 20 years. On everything! Ive gone through at least 6 sets of bottles, maybe more. Ive used all types of glues in my 71+ years, and this is, by far, the best Ive ever used. But, one thing to remember, this stuff DOES NOT SET in FIVE MINUTES! No way! Yes, it may start to harden in 5 minutes, but no way is it SET. In the best of conditions, high temperatures and low humidity, it takes a good 4 hours to become not tacky. To be safe, I usually wait AT LEAST 24 hours before un-clamping or any handling. Clean the parts really good, mix the epoxy, apply, clamp, wait 24 hours or more, then use. Good stuff. And their JB Weld Original Cold Weld Two-part epoxy is some fantastic stuff too, especially for metals.

> 3 dayI’ve used this for a modern ‘Kintsugi’ style porcelain repair, with satisfactory results. I wanted to repair a chipped old bowl to reach a Kintsugi style repair while using modern accessible materials. I decided to try the combination of epoxy and golden colored mica powder. I mixed some powder with the epoxy and applied it in small quantity on the chipped part. I had to factor in the epoxy viscosity, gravity and the relatively quick setting time to get a nicely rounded and smooth patch. At first I didn’t like the gold effect produced by the mix of mica powder with the clear epoxy, so I decided to sprinkle more powder on the surface of the epoxy patch a few minutes into the process and after it started setting. This gave it the desired finish I was looking for. For this type of application I would recommend this product.

30-10-2024I used this epoxy to glue brass hanging apparatuses to the backs of my glass mosaics so I could attach a chain and hang them in front of a window. The two glues come out in equal amounts when you push down on the lever. Just mix them together with the wooden stick (included in package). I applied the glue with the wooden stick. went on great - looks a bit cloudy, but dries perfectly clear. Worked very well. I let them sit overnight just to be safe. Worked perfectly. Each glass mosaic weighs about 1-2 lbs and they have been hanging in my family and friends windows since Christmas, so about 5 months with no issues. The brass attachments were flat, about 1/16 thick. I glued the back of them to the back piece of glass (the front of the glass is where all the stained glass pieces are), attached chain to the brass pieces and ready to go! I did a lot of research of best glue for brass to glass and decided on this one - glad I did! good stuff!
