Greater than one weekClearWeld always worked well for me and I assume its still a good formula, but J-B Weld has downsized it so small (for the same price, of course) that a Hershey bar -- the old downsized cliche -- looks massive in comparison. The problem is that the plunger-driven openings are so small, its hard to see whether youre squeezing out an equal amount of epoxy and hardener. That was always something of a problem because youd usually have to press one side harder than the other -- they never seemed to come out equally. But you could eyeball what you were squeezing out much more easily than you can with the new baby sized version. J-B Weld should just put the material in separate tubes, like a lot of other products.

Greater than one weekIs really strong, I used to put some bathroom appliances, the only problem is that is too liquid initially. Your probably need to use some soft tape to keep things in place while it cures.

> 3 dayDon’t use the self mixing tube if you’re not going to use the whole thing. The bond is strong and works as advertised. Throw the mixing tube away and mix it manually just like the old days. So much waste ….

> 3 dayEpoxy is not as strong as we are led to believe. It takes quite a while for epoxy to work and afterwards, it gives out within a week or so.
