Greater than one weekLaptop is for personal use only. No instructions or manual came with the computer. Finding very difficult to set up with apps and files on my other computer. Have been an HP user for awhile (desktop pc w Win 10 & printer) and really like the products. This is my 1st laptop. Very frustrating. Dont know why I have to spend $579 on a laptop and then have to pay $300 + to have help setting up.

> 3 dayAbsolutely terrible display. Screen looked faded and while testing Youtube videos would randomly glitch and stutter. Automatic turnoff and return

> 3 dayIve had laptops last me for years. Never had HP though. Bought this one based on the price, but have had trouble with it ever since. And now just after the warranty expires after only just a year, the battery is dying and there is zero customer service unless you pay extra. The HP driver software isnt compatible with standard Intel drivers, so if you install based on the alerts from Intel it will mess up your display and then youll have to troubleshoot how to fix it.

> 3 dayI am in the return process currently for this product. While it is lightweight and has a nice look, there are glitches. I have also experienced the blinking screen that one review mentioned. This happens randomly and this is hard to navigate without a second monitor because the blinking prevents you from selecting icons on the desktop to navigate to where you need to go. I also experienced a few occasions where the spacebar stopped working as I was writing. Kinda need the spacebar. Also experienced audio crackling on zoom calls as well as when working and listening to music. The audio completely went out at least twice and I am still not sure why - just restarted several times and then it somehow restored itself. I did the HP diagnostics but you are never sure if that solves the issues. The biggest issue happened last week - I contacted Asurion for support to troubleshoot when at startup the screen went black. I tried everything I could as well as restarting and troubleshooting with YouTube videos. Asurion, was able to help me establish a restore point and that helped for about a week and then the screen blinking continued again, too. I contacted Asurion again only for them to offer that troubleshooting was not worth it and that I should contact Amazon for a refund since this is a brand new computer.

> 3 dayThis was a pretty good laptop for the price. The worst thing about it is the silver keys with letters marked in black, those are really hard to see from any angle but straight up. The function keys are extremely difficult to read. Thats probably just a poor color choice on my part. It also runs a little hot, that can be a real problem over any fairly long period of time. Its a good backup to have if you make the mistake of buying a Lenovo.

> 3 dayI had this laptop in my possession for four days -- just long enough to spend hours and hours and hours on the conversion from my old laptop. And thats when the hard-drive blew up. HP told me they could repair it and return it to me within three weeks of the time that they receive it. Then I guess I could take the chance that their quality would be better the second time around, and I could re-invest hours and hours on the repaired version. No thanks. I have work to do.

> 3 dayNeeded a good budget laptop. Trusting in all these reviews and HP brand reputation went with this model.

> 3 dayWithin a few hours of setting up the laptop, the entire screen randomly turned black with pink and white stripes everywhere. The screen would not return to normal until I restarted the laptop. This happened multiple times, so I ended up returning it.
